I’ve been using Tony Eisenhower headphones for three years now he just enhanced mind since I got my 900 and they were fantastic. Make sure you put a little silicon around the screw in part to waterproof.
Just a little more information he uses top quality, Pizzo speakers And can put tape over the two little drain holes and you’re good to go as far as the wind not that I’ve had a problem with it.
Tony Eisenhower makes good headphones. He also makes Thresher headphones. I have had his for years. He does great work but they are flat plate buzzers. Aqua-Tek headphones are better. They are conical stereo waterproof headphones. They are the only ones like that. Tony has stood behind his for years. But I'd rather go with Aqua-Tek Waterproof Headphones.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Appreciate the fact that you’ve tried different brands/models and can tell us the differences. Oftentimes people will buy and try one thing then claim it’s the best ever!
Eric good little hunt I do believe that one item that we are finding is a release button or switch for opening the ⛱️ beach umbrellas but that is my guess and yes I would dig it too I have. 😊 thanks for the info keep it up and remember to make it fun and Happy Hunting 🙂👍..
I said, "tones, no headphones," on a recent video and got my 1st downvotes (multiple actually) and a mean message about my detecting abilities. / Do cordless ever fall off? Do they get scrambled if several pairs are used in close proximity? Your big group hunt video in San Diego comes to mind. 🤪
I will wear them mainly on I'll be waist deep or more. And next time I do that, the gopro is going into its little clear box. My ML-85 wireless are snug, never come off. You get more interference from other detectors close up, the headphones seem to be fine.
@@SeekandDetect - Interesting. / I'm not sure how much to trust GoPro's waterproof-ness so I haven't made an in-surf video, just in case. Will eventually end up buying that clear box.
My only Manticore gripe is the 105 wireless headphones…… there not loud enough…… in the wet sand , with wind and crashing waves …..can’t hear the Targets …..Minelab added a audio boost mode, but only applies to wired headphones….will have to look into these……thanks for sharing
I think the main reason to get these would be because they are waterproof. If you're looking for more volume vs. the 105's you may possibly be disappointed. Although I don't have the 105's (I use the 85's with my 900), I can tell you they sound different. They don't have the type of speakers as typical headphones. Although the volume is loud, they sound more "muffled" and do not have the same higher pitch tones. I'm sure other guys that use the TE headphone can help me describe this.
I tried to email Tony and it keeps not sending as it’s not an actual email address. I too have been looking for a pair of these but have not been able to find them. Unsure what’s wrong but I would really like to contact him. Thanks Rick
I have 3 sets of them, I find them to be awesome but I did break the end off one plug on the D2 set I need to see if he will fix them for me if I send them back. Thanks for his email address
