In 02 the highs were $200 and came in a suitcase and the lows were $150 and came in the regular black and grey shoebox

I’ll die on this hill. I’m so tired of 1-14.. even tho I love the silhouettes give us 15-23 in all the original colorways! I’ll gladly pay 220+ each for them. The problem is they release new colorways of these silhouettes and do collabs and expect for people to run after them.. new school heads see them as Jordan nothings but the small majority of OG’s will honestly admit they know those silhouettes and appreciate them!

Designer shoes are also overpriced and uncomfortable, but why complain about some $300 Jordans when everyone spending more money on Gucci and Louis vuitton shoes just to dress like everyone else. I have a pair of both the original 17 with the briefcase and cd as well as the low 17s in all black. Not too many folks were rocking the lightning but you had plenty in black and light blue. I wouldn't pay 300 for them. My lows should still be in good condition almost 20+ years ago.

I remember when this kicks was originally released and they sat everywhere lol. My prediction is that they’ll sit again! This was the least desirable colorway out of all the 17’s. And yea; the suitcase is about double the size of the original suitcase.

Hi According to some sites I went to, this Air Jordan 17 Lightning would not be available on SNKRS?!! 🤔 shoes made in any Asian factory don't cost $300, including the upcoming J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 Rio at $250 and so on. And don't tell me the extra suitcase justifies the price. This becomes a great absurdity. I would agree with these prices if they were made with real noble materials. 😏

Great review bro , make sure you give out the right info for certain shoes, this shoe was retail for 150$ with no briefcase back in 02 .. only the first 3 colors high one had the briefcase, and this was not the last all star game Jordan played on , the 18s was the last shoe he wear in all star game .. but great video

Jordan tricked its customers to spend $300 on a shoe that would other cost half the price and included the box just to up charge you on the model that didnt even come wit the box. I think they ruined the excitement for the highs since the highs are the only one who got the suitcase.

When I was refering to $250 retail I was referring to the Jordan 17 Retro Copper and Jordan 17 Retro Chicago Bulls that released in 2016, both that retailed for $250. So maybe you are the one who don't know nothing about 17s ? I can admit when I am wrong I aint always going to be right, but for some reason it just comes off like you being bitter for no reason. $250 for the box $60.00 for the sneaker. In total:NOT WORTH IT. There are better grails and OG’s that hold more value and definitely more longevity than these. 💯
