to be honest, i find the finger application rather nice on you - the sheer wash of colour gives off an effortless chic vibe. please do try with a primer, and also build a 2nd layer also using your finger : who knows if that could work too ! all that being said, my personal experience with liquid shadows have never been great : armani, laura mercier, dior… given the generally negative feedback for those by chanel, the impression i get is this is simply the way they perform. i’ll stick to the tried & true 😊

Yes, they dry very fast. I was told by sale assistant this fact right away. I love these eye shadow because it stays put for 24 hours and it doesn't change. I don't know why is this lady having so much problems but it worked for me beautifully and flawless!

I just returned all the ones I got.... what a waist of money. Do yourself a favor an get any of the Lisa Eldridge liquid shadows and you will be happier and save some. If they performed and looked like the promo pictures, I would have kept it.... but this is a hard no for the folks at Sisley (formerly known as "you can do no wrong in my book")
Probably best as a lid topper. Liquid shadows seem to be a hard formula for brands to do correctly. Just got a Kosas one in a Sephora clean beauty bundle and it is nice. Applies well with brush, finger or applicator. At least you tried.😆 Go ahead and return them since you will never use them. I'll just stick to my Sisley shadow sticks.

I wish I had looked up this review before I bought one. It's not a good formula. It's cakey. It also burned my eyelids. I took it off within a minute and it really burned me. So, if you have sensitive eyelids, you may wish to pass. I didn't even know I had them. Love Sisley as a whole though.
