Gamer dad here, always watching/listening with wireless headset of your podcast while doing chores at home, have two little helldivers in training dont have much time to spare for super earth atm but always keeping up to date with you guys. love it.

I’m so proud of the Helldivers that finally jumped over to the bot side. I’m one of them. Once you get used to how to kill them it gets easier. 30,000+ on the bot side is awesome. At times they’re close to 75% of Helldivers on bot side.

like 80 % of randoms don't know about decay rate everytime I meet new people and explain it to them they are all like oooooooh

Imo I feel like the only issues I'm facing with the game lately is 1.ragdolls 2.changes to armor and health 3.playing the same missions over and over I think the game is in a solid place finally I hope they shift focus to illuminate and mission types because we really need something new to do... Also I called it, I knew the space station wasn't an actual place you visit but just a UI element for our ships

12:35 theres one light armor in the super store that has extra padding (100 armor)

going from titles saying things like "is this the end??" " is helldivers dying??" "players base keeps going down" to "are things going too good" and "BUFFDOME WE SO BACK" make me very happy

AC wasn't nerfed, it just feels like it's doing less damage because the enemies have more HP. It takes longer to kill with an AC precisely because they haven't touched it.

75% of people think playing one mission out of 3 is enough but they’re actually not contributing if they don’t complete the campaign. When you choose a planet, there are 3 places to choose from, each of those places have 3 missions, complete all missions to contribute.

It’s crazy to see the majority of players on the bot sode

Guys!. You had a great idea and even didn’t realized it!. Do you imagine if we could get trophies for the super destroyers. Head of the bugs or body parts of the bots. Or even better!. An armor set almost like monster hunter. Armor sets on the enemies you kill. Love the videos BTW.

I like how they had a message saying there was less automatons as we were taking Claorell. I understand stuff maybe manipulated a bit but if it makes sense in game and lore then I’m fine with it. DMs in DnD will manipulate stuff as long it’s good for the story.

That guy saying people shouldn’t get medals isn’t thinking about casuals or people like me that can’t play during the week. I’d miss over half the medals because I can only play on weekends.

The biggest problem with the orders for me are the guys who don't complete the operation, several times I'm with the random ones and they just don't finish the operations, usually the 15-minute ones they ignore and jump to another operation

I am not a stickler for major orders. Play what you want when you want. But I am all for folks who partake in major orders getting something special. Major orders are fun sometimes. Fun build I’m using: AMR with a supply pack, Crossbow, uzi, and thermite. It’s great in long rage maps. Use the AMR liberty , servo armour, 500k and laser, It’s fun.

I disagree ive never used the companion app lvl 98. You guys and other youtubers keep me informed😂😂😂. Plus the boad is pretty easy to read.. planet decay can be a bit tricky if you never played helldivers 1 but as a vet its all self explanatory. Come at me bro 😂😂 Also a good way to tell if you are on a planet thats liberated is the mission becomes fd real quick. Like the game is saying get out 😂😂

LOL he uses gas grenades to cower away from Liberty. Meanwhile I'm over here decapitating zerkers, devs, & standard infantry with my Dominator on Super Hell Dive. Honestly, last night was likely my best performance ever. Time ran out, so destroyer left orbit, I was in the process of being reinforced, and all my team-mates just got killed. In those last few seconds before the destroyer left, I called down everything I needed. Resupply, Recoiless Rifle, & Rocket Sentry. I dropped in with only ONE HILL as cover, and enemies creeping around the corner on both sides. One of which was a Factory Strider full health. I leaped in front of its line of sights to pickup my Recoiless, and no-scoped its eye, therefore ONE SHOTTING it. But it had already spawned an army of devastators. So I hot swapped back to my Dominator, & I was incorporating the dive forward and backward to dodge incoming fire, while performing shotgun lobotomies. A hulk then turned the corner, but I didn't have my recoiless reloaded. I stuffed a Thermite down his throat, and then literally zigzagged around him in order to use him as cover from other enemy fire. Behind him, I saw a line of Berserkers making a beeline for me, so I threw down my Eagle Strafing Run, and it eliminated 8 targets in one go. By now, the plane had touched down, but I still had a lot of enemies on the board. So I pre-stimmed, and crossed no man's land, of course getting ragdolled like 3 times on my way to the shuttle. Eventually, I did make it inside to the delight of my team-mates, because I managed to pickup their samples on the way in. 1 guy said; "We got freakin John Helldiver here." And the other guy said; "I came" in chat. The only thing I had to say once I extracted was....... "I did not appreciate how much the bots forced me to John Wickit!" If only I would've clipped that, that would make a perfect "When The Doom Music Kicks In" edit.

Gonna have to agree with Dutch Butters on this one Salty, I didnt notice you using "Grip" in your videos until a few weeks ago. Never heard the word used like that until you said it a few weeks back. Don't get me wrong, it's a cool way to use the word, but I can't say I've heard it used like that before.

I'll add one more thing, squads sound fun! Clans can and are fun. The big problem is if you are in a clan or squad you probably are not going to play with other people.Or let others play with you. Could cause division. I've played with alot of random people I didn't like playing with and alot that I did.

I wish they had a daily that had to do with certain difficulties. Like kill X amount of things on lvl X

In bot side the passive I go for is the explosive resistance. The tower torrents are survivable as well as any rocket. I go for the light armor, because anything that can one shot you , one shot you anyway regardless of armor rating. But you can run away faster

War Monitor is my favorite companion app.

I'll be honest. I listened to the first 1/3 while cleaning the house. The middle 1/3 you were background noise as I played a mission. The last 1/3 was also background noise. I just wanted to give you hope. Seriously though, love the dadgamer content. Keep it coming.

18:05 if ur normally use to 1920x1080 and just want a different look.. i used 1728x1080 resolution for hd2 for a solid month and it wasn't all that bad, i kind of enjoyed the stretched look too.. i also play at max 90 fov too.. oh and dutch please try out the counter sniper and RR combo next time u play bots.. just something nice to change it up to and that primary might slow ur gameplay down.. helped me a ton.

I used helldiverio then saw how much more information was on the companion app. Btw all I use is light armor lol. You learn how to avoid dying over time lol. Going in the tunnels would be cool till you lost your support weapons or needed to use a stratagem or if you die or run out of ammo... everything comes from the destroyer including reinforcements... so being down in a tunnel would cut all that off. So we will never go into the tunnels. They would have to rework everything in the game to make it possible Cant remember the building name... but in England (I think) a building shaped like a crescent caught a car on fire... so yeah Vegas isn't the only place to make that mistake 😂

Love light amour and will never switch off medium armour and heavy armor do not give me a good enough incentive to play with them I use to run them but the reason why I wont switch now is cuz light armour makes me move faster and that's what I want. Being able to reposition myself is why I use it if I went heavy armour I would be forced to fight the 20 heavy devastators that are marching towards me.

I'm actually against incorporating companion app into the game. I all for the additional info, but there is to much of an info for a Helldiver to know like decay rates or liberation times. It's too of a metagaming info that breakes immersion of being a soldier with limited knowledge. If AH manages to make all this info has a lore justification then it would be good. Maybe some of that leaked intel missions or other stuff could enable us to get more info on enemy progress or numbers or force-composition.

Hmg eas durability nerf and they changed its penetration value at steep angles to make it ricochet. Its not great on bots now.

HMG lost 15 to 30 durable damage per bullet. AC didnt get nerfed, its just that a lot of enemies got a lot more HP so it takes more shots to kill a lot of the same targets.
