Feel the same way. I have yet to feel any performance and comfort loss in mine. I treat it like a workout. Push it hard, but treat it right. Love your videos, brother.

That idle pulley was moving around pretty good. Take the belt off and see it the noise stops. Never mind looks like it may have been a flood truck.

A cheep yoga mat comes in real handy for situations where your hood may hit something. I use one as a floor mat in the back when I have the seats for storing tools and stuff, to protect the plastic parts of the truck.

All 6.2s tick a little on cold start. They are very reliable tho. That rust is just surface rust from parking on the dirt. It doesnt scare me but im from new england so

I think a Raptor would be awesome, just maybe not that one! As far as content, as a diesel owner and auto enthusiast, I have and will continue to watch them all! I remember when you hit 2k subs, you’ve come a long way and proud of you! You be you! It’s your channel, take the critics with a grain of salt, don’t take it personally! Keep the content coming!!

The 6.2 l Raptors are amazing when maintained. But the lifters go bad and cause noise like a slight tapping under the valve covers. Also the exhaust manifolds love to break bolts at the rear side.

That raptor is kinda rough, but yes the 6.2s I come across at work are very noisy valve train lash.

Got a 2019 F250 6.7 Lariot edition. I been looking for additional upgrades any ideas guys? I just purchased the entire delete package should have it done by the weekend. I already installed a Banks 5" exhaust DPF back, SB Air intake.

I daily drive a 2011 with 778000miles h&s tuner its whole life stock motor and trans pics to prove it. Plus i still drive it everyday

Apologies if I missed it in a previous video, but why haven't you taken that EGR off? Any particular reason or just didn't want to?

You don't need too. It closes 100% when you tune them.

Idk Corey, all the rust underneath, especially when you showed under the rear end, looks like it was seriously neglected or under water atleast to the springs. And the ticking, don't know much about that but hearing that would drive me crazy... did you happen to check the dip stick??

The noise is pretty normal the 5.0 and 6.2 have noisy valves

I have a 2018 super duty thats not deleted but im.using the archoil products in every tank of gas and also i use the oil addictive at every oil change. Do you think that can keep me from having to delete it an allow my engine to last 500 thousand miles

That’s just a pulley or tensioner pulley ticking that would be good content if you was going to supercharge it Snd so long travel 37z and stuff

We have 2 2018 lariat work trucks, there is no kind of vehicle tracking and the keys are always left in them with no accountability if something breaks. we have 150,000 miles ~ on each of them and have NEVER had an engine/transmission issue with either of them. Both are fully deleted and 125 ppei tunes.

That ticking sounds like standard injector tick. Hard to tell in the video. But it sounds too high frequency to be lifter tick. But my god did that truck see salt and no rinse. I'd be all set my man...stay away from that rear axle housing rot.

I have a 2012 raptor 6.2 it’s an amazing truck they all tic like that but I don’t think he should get that one. It seems a little beat up i would rather see him in a cleaner one

I just tuned my 19 f250 and the trailer connected/ disconnected light comes on. Have you had that?

Imo leave it alone until u begin to have problems. These new systems are tough as hell. We live in a world now where egrs don't fail like they used to and are very capable. With that being said they are still a part that receives a lot of heat and abuse so eventually they will give up. When that happens just delete it assuming that the law permits for you.

@@steve5912 well said. well I run my warranty down in 9000 miles (that will take me less than a month) then its time. next question i will raise is are you a banks derringer data monster/idash or SCT. thoughts appreciated...

If you all buy these trucks for the warranty that's just stupid.. any car manufacturer will allege you changed the oil and void any powertrain claim, and Magnuson Moss WON'T protect you. Better to just delete everything the day you buy it and do preventative maintenance.

Hey Corey, where is a good place to go near Pittsburgh to have my 2016 6.7 Cummins transmission and gearing updated? I am tuned for 650hp but don’t run it on full tune as I worry about hurting my transmission.

Also, no on the Raptor for 22K. I’ve NEVER heard one sound like that unless something is caught in the flywheel, which I doubt. I’ve never actually been a fan of the Raptors, but to each their own.

no not for 22,000 maybe 5000 that's it an i live in the north east an we have a lot of salt in mass an i see raptor at the auction from 4,000 to 15,000 an they have a lot less miles an from 2012 to 2016 . all day. but for 21,500 i would run .

That raptor sounds strange. If your dad wants to buy it make sure he knows a good mechanic to check it out before buying it. Especially the engine.

Definitely get a Raptor, but not this one.. why buy an older truck than he has now,get an aluminum 2017 or newer way more power and even bigger torque difference...way better mpg,and suspension. That 6.2 is on its last legs it shouldn’t be that loud.
