@@FerindelIt's not helpful advice because it's showing you a completely different thing. There is a difference between "here's an idea on how to improve" and "you're doing it wrong, you should do it my way"
@@Ferindelthere’s different styles of art for a reason! Draw the way you want to! It’s not gonna cause the apocalypse if you draw sparkles the way you want to.
@@ΣοφίαΣτουπά-ρ2τthey’re giving you other ideas. They never said not to draw the first sparkles, they’re just showing other ones if you want more variety.
i do the "disney style". basically, draw a long "+" sign and then put an unfinished circle at the center of it. make the circle look like it's rushed to be drawn
YOU are an artist, you draw the sparkles that are in YOUR heart and mind. Try new things, sure, but never let anyone tell you that what your art and how you do it isn’t good enough!
@@fuafua1566 I'd say art classes is for getting better at art, so in a way, getting better at expressing yourself. Plus, art is in the eyes of the beholder, there's never "good" or "bad" art when people have different opinions of each other. And to answer the competition part, i guess it would be for either some harmless fun, to get better art or just to create something. Hope what I said here helps but at the end of the day, it's all just what I've experienced/learnt.
Everyone, I don’t think they’re telling you how to draw your sparkles and whats wrong or right, they’re just offering other styles as ideas for more variety. There’s not need to get so upset 🙃✨
"are you still drawing sparkles like this?" i cant even recall the last time i drew sparkles edit: to all of those saying that this is sad, i do draw quite a bit, i just never draw sparkles. i draw realistic things and not sparkly.
“Are you still drawing sparkles like this?” *no ma’am I am drawing them like the apple emoji..* ✨ I NEED TO KNOW HOW THE HELL THIS GOT POPULAR AFTER 2 MONTHS!!!!!!! Like nobody commented until like 6 days ago 😭😭 Go away, I just want my daily dose of notifications!!
Me who always drew sparkles like that: 👁️👄👁️ Edit: Why does this dumb comment have 44k likes and 368 replies?? Edit 2: I don't need this many likes and replies.+all you people are saying is "same". It's NPC behavior. Please stop
Remember guys, you can made new styles, transfer them to other mediums for different effect (rg. Make pixel sparkles instead) or draw them just like in the video still. Some artists choose to stick to a few styles for enough variety with a vibe that makes their artwork iconic and recognizable. Take this video as inspo and don't let others bring you and your creativity down! If you wanna have 28 different sparkles in yo artwork or just 3, that is all up to you and each has is pros and cons!
@@ollie2111 I actually had literally just found that at the time of posting that, and that was one of the first shorts that came up for the song, so I decided to post the song name, as it wasn't mentioned anywhere else
“Are you still drawing sparkles like this?” Yeah and what are you gonna do about it? This technique has been passed down in my family for generations Edit: I didn’t think that I needed to tell y’all that THIS IS A DAMN JOKE CAN EVERYONE FREAKING CHILL
Me who never drew the "are you still drawing your sparkles like this? " Edit: Not tryna be that person but... TYSM FOR 1K LIKES AHSJSVJSVDHAGS Edit 2: 2k LIKES? THAT IS.. INCREDIBLEEEE
The first type of sparkle can absolutely look good if you add variation in size and the number of sticks, especially if you use them in a piece with an art style that fits them well.
I always drew sparkles like that lmao-there needs to be open space on the inside to imply the presence of light, you know? Can’t have it just be a bunch of asterisks, at least for me. Draw how you want, of course. I’m just a perfectionist so when my eyes see something that doesn’t look the way they exactly want, my brain gets all focused on it and really wants to fix it or change it to be more pleasing for my mind 😅
As an artist, I usually use the first sparkle for the eyes and I never thought of the last one until I realised that it can be used as a sparkle popping or ending.
Do you know the original meaning of the swastika, from India (and neighboring cultures I think)? It's a very lucky, benefic sign. It's still used in that region, always was. Thousands of years old. Look it up, it's very interesting.
