We absolutely are made stupider in many ways as technology grows. I think it is important to create distinctions where it is a net negative or not. In the case of a back up camera, I can see how being competent enough with a vehicle that you can confidently back up without it is probably pretty important, and that reliance on it will make people worse drivers. Though we don't need to do nearly as many calculations by hand like the 'computer' women needed to do to help us win the space race. We may not be as good at computing by hand anymore, but I'd say with new tech dealing with that for us we are probably better off. Thanks for the video!
