Thank you so much for doing this. Many of our biking friends have ridden RAGBRAI. I always thought it would be fun, but I'm not much of a camper. We have done multi-day rides, but always supported, and hotels. I am going to subscribe to see how the rest of the week went. Hope you had fun!
Tent 30 here if we are doing a PBV Check In 😂 My 2nd RAGBRAI and not my last. Travelled over from London UK and think it is a great cycling event like nothing else.
It was so fun!! I charged my phone and GoPro with my power bank, and after three days had to find a way to charge the power bank itself. With the pork belly ventures charter they had charging trailers so that was nice! When I rode self supported in 2022 I usually tried to find an outlet in the camping area, or I’d bring a phone charger with on the ride and find a charger in one of the towns and let the phone charge while I took a break! For the drone I only brought it out on a couple of the days and used it until the battery died!
Can I suggest a video of video of what you brought for supplies and what you learned and what you are going to bring next time. Also from the perspective of a solo rider. What you liked what you didn’t like? Make your title more broad, so someone who is searching for information and not just ragbri specific does that make sense
@@beccastinton at least that what I do a lot on RU-vid. If I haven’t done something before or need information I search for it. The more broad you make than people might find you easier
