Jimmy is the MAN. My all-time favorite fly shop and always loved talking to Jimmy. So happy they're honoring the legacy keeping the name - the sign out front is iconic.

Amazing and so happy for Jimmy. I took fly tying lessons from him in their Pocatello shop back in the mid-eighties when I was like 10-12 years old!

I love how you guys take over an iconic flyshop that is clearly important and sentimental to the customers and honor that by keeping Jimmy in the name and not completely flipping everything. You guys are amazing. I'm in Canada and never been to either store. That will hopefully change soon, but it's clear you guys made a great decision in the best ways possible 🤘🏻 🇨🇦 🎣 keep up the awesome work, you guys are an inspiration

I was in yesterday for the first time since you guys took over. Picked up a new R8 and a few materials. The chaos in getting everything put together is real! Everyone was working hard getting it all together. Very excited to have you guys building on what was already an outstanding fly shop.

Congratulations! I stopped by in late June and it looked like a bomb went off lol! In all seriousness, I grew up in IF and have always thought Jimmy’s was the gold standard of fly shops. You guys are perfect for taking over Jimmy’s and even improving it!

What's funny is we made our trip up there and stopped by Fly Fish Food in Utah and met you guys, then later the next day we were in Idaho Falls at Jimmy's and ran into you again. In fact, Jimmy was the one that rang us up and set us up with some flys.

I wish we had fly shops around here. I’m in Central Georgia and they are unheard of here.. I have to order all my supplies on line and it would just be so amazing to actually be able to wander around and look at things. We traveled up to North Georgia for a weekend before the 4th and it was really disappointing.. we found ONE shop in Helen and they had a nice selection of flies but only a handful of tying supplies snd almost NO hooks. I have the hardest time finding hooks.. the smallest thing you can find around here is a size 6 and that’s RARE.. mostly it’s 1.0,2,0,2 or 2 that’s IT.. and typically just Mustad or Eagle Claw.. it’s depressing honestly.. do you have an online store

Flyfishing has exploded here in PA last few years. Probably not crazy.

Well lit displays are sooo important. I can't count how many great fly shops I've been in that have nice large displays of flys, but you cant see the product because of poor lighting . The other mistake I think shops make is that they put their nice fly reels in a case. if you want to sell reels you need to let people touch them, check out the drags.......

I bet Jimmy never told a customer to figure it out themselves when he sold a sub-par rod to a customer that broke.

I live in Utah and travel to IF 2-3 times a month. I love Jimmy and his crew. I have yet to be back since the transition. Hopefully the new customer service at Jimmy's will be better than the Orem store level.
