Let’s be honest. Even if it gets reprinted. This will fly off the Shelf so fast 💨 that people are going to say it was never reprinted. This set is that good that it’s the best set in the S&V era

151 is NOT in a bubble just a proper price correction. The price was suppressed for so long while the 151 printers were running. Now that they have turned off the price goes where it is supposed to go. 151 is the BEST set in S&V and the 151 SunZard is BEAUTIFUL 🔥🔥🔥

@@Thepokeguy1the pull rate and gem rate is so bad tho. Just like the magikarp from paldea. 151 has been insanely under priced for the last three months because everybody thought there was going to be a huge reprint like there was with the Japanese.

The hype behind surging sparks is absurd. So is the hype behind twilight masq. The hype behind 151 isn’t absurd. That set is a monster. I thought I stocked up enough for my investment. I thought we would catch a SUBSTANTIAL reprint and I’d be able to double my position. Now, I wish I doubled it a few months ago. Honestly, I couldn’t believe the 151 zard sat at $115 as long as it did. I always thought it was at least a $150 card. I believed in 151 so much that I decided to master set it, but I decided to master set it by pulling all the cards myself. Thanks to that, I’ve got 5 pack fresh super clean 151 zards in going to grade. I don’t really believe in grading either. That is how special this set is. You’ve got morons like me dropping thousands of dollars on it

I bit the bullet and bought another sealed booster bundle display last night @ $475 + tax. Bought my first one for $440 🤷‍♂️ If surging sparks is overhyped, so be it. Capitalize on it ya know

@@rocklee7634 I couldn’t bring myself to invest in booster bundles. If I was going to, I wanted to invest in sealed displays, and if I was going to do that, I was going to do it for around MSRP. I could never justify dropping $47 for a bundle when I could get an ETB for $44, so I stocked up on ETBs and UPCs instead. I did good on them, but I think I want more ETBs. Got 10 regulars stored and 3 PC ETBs stored. Think I want 20 regular ETBs. Would also like a sealed case of the pc ETBs, which I had at one point but opened for that master set. Problem is, those suckers are now close to $200 apiece. Can’t justify that investment either lol. 151 is a beast. You are right about surging sparks. It may be overhyped, but it didn’t stop me from preordering a sealed case of BBs. I would just be wary of paying the prices being asked right now. Can’t find a BB for less than $108 preorder right now. Absurd levels of anticipation with this set

They could still reprint this set substantially. I don’t think it would tank it as bad as shining fates tanked, but maybe like crown zenith? That was up high after a year and then they just kept coming out with new products . They are still coming out with new stuff 2 years later. And those singles have never gotten too high, and the sealed stuff is stagnant. But I also think 151 is way more popular than crown zenith.

@@Theu131 nah. It will never tank like crown zenith. Look at Japanese 151. They reprinted that more than zenith, and the boxes are already worth over $100 again. The set is a monster. It brought too many old fogies like me back into the hobby, and we are all dropping thousands of dollars on it. It could still catch a massive reprint, true, and it could drop the price substantially, also true, but it won’t stay there. For instance, if the ETBs drop to less than $50 again, I’m doubling my position.

It's always the same cycle lol, Pokémon gets popular, everything sells well, fear of reprints come and people say maybe we're in a bubble, prices come down, smart people get in again and we're back to square one...28 years and still going xD

There will be NO reprint. We already got a 151 RESTOCK and they ALL SOLD OUT IN MINUTES. 151 is not your normal set!

In following up with my previous comment and addressing remarks made on this video, flipping adds up to the problem of manufactured/artificial scarcity which drives up the prices of the cards and makes it harder sometimes near impossible to buy as a collector, for the sake of profitting. It would be great if everyone had the opportunity to buy these sealed products at retail price but in reality we have a singular person getting to a walmart and wiping the isle clean.

This is why you buy stuff when it's not cool. Charizard SIR, other stud singles and the retail product was cheap for so long...people slept...now here we are. If you couldnt see that 151 was an investable set then your collecting sense need calibration. This was a gem from Pokemon

what are your thoughts on PSA 10 for the trio (Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur) and for the other SIRs/IRs of the SV151 set ? worth holding for long term ?

@@HPengui I think long term, 5-10 years, the big three graded will be a solid pickup in a PSA 10. But I’m also not a fan of grading cards. I have a video on it. It is feeding us your thing, then as everyone will tell you, PSA and 10’s are the way to go.

As someone who got back into collecting as a hobby to have something to do with my kid, this buying to flip a profit is disgusting. I'll use personal experience here. Recently bought two poster boxes to open with said kid, however i only opened one and dont want to pop the 2nd. Why? I never know when ill get my hands on more.

Ive got some 151 sitting staring at me. But i never cracked it. A conundrum. But i got to crack them. I only paid $4 a pack with intent to crack. But a smarter man would keep them sealed.
