Yeah, we’re gonna end up needing an AI that can detect other AI’s or something. I wonder how this’ll go

lol oh boi. i wonder how long it'll take ai to do that... that's why i need to get big quickly so i don't get drowned out. but thank you :) (i feel like typing so imma type for a second) i like editing my videos like this because i feel like a lot of other videos are so well animated with effects and cuts it ruins the message. like Mr beast or... idk he's the only one on my mind rn. anyways i want people to watch my videos and get something from it and now just feel stimulated for 10 minutes then forget everything the second they walk away. Kinda like exurb1a (idk if you know him or not) I've been liking his videos for years and I'm like why... well because the message is the most important part and the editing is simple, engaging, straight to the point without all the fluff anyways, thank you for your kind words :) i will continue

i personally, at least right now, don't see a point in kids other than having the experience and getting a sense of purpose. But kinda like a mentioned before, i think it's going to make life amazing for some and ass for others. We'll see tho

​@@malikpeace_ Wish we could trust the government to pass some laws to make the use of AI safer. But, we all know that most probably won't happen. Or at least not in the way we would like...

We definitely will have to adapt to this new technology. Just like the first industrial revolution. In the beginning it causes novel consequences and turbulence. Once it's adapted to it becomes a net positive.

I agree mostly... Some people made the exact same statements when cameras came out. "They're removing the art. It's too easy" now we have films and movies. Do i think you need to be super creative to use ai... idk. I've been making pictures for a minute and i do have to be a little creative sometimes if i want to make the ai make me something i had in mind. (i know I'm not actually "making" art and I'll never claim that but you understand) Like yeah with making a picture you could just say "picture of a mountain" okay.. they'll start looking the same very soon. But if you start being "creative" and start saying stuff like "classical oil painting from 1700s of high mountains towering over clouds in japan during summer sunset with 3 birds flying in the air blah blah blah" you can get something much more unique. Kinda like a video camera. You could just record something. or. You can get the right lighting, the right angle, pair it with something else, colorgrade it, edit it together and boom. I don't think people would call you uncreative just cuz you use a video camera just some thoughts. i do understand what u mean tho cuz i am certainly no "artists" just for using this

That's a real shame what happened to those girls :( but it terms of ai making creativity more accessible; i mean more like you're able to bring your ideas to life faster. Sure it is better to still make traditional art which wont go away as long as we have hands, but i think it'll be cool (for some) to have an idea that would be extremely hard to make and make it with ai. Allowing you to express your own creativity faster. Also, I'm not saying people still can't be artists, I'm just saying they wont have a job. If I'm being 1000% honest. It's nice for people to come together and make art, which will still be around, but media, videos, 99% of things that people just consume daily is going to change. I seriously don't see how someone can make art in the future and get paid a serious amount of money with it. i get 100% what you mean tho but i just think that's the future that's coming and thank you for your support i really appreicate it :)))

If that is what ends up happening, people will just create new AI models that make the stuff without the watermark, or make an AI that removes the watermarks.

i believe (not trying to be mean or anything) that's very wishful thinking but not realistic. Like also everything ever, the more popular and excessible something becomes to cheaper it will become. Even if they made a water mark on a video, i right now know how to easily remove it. Even if it's somehow imbedded into the video, what the other 10 generators that don't have a watermark? What if i convert the video to a different format? What if i convert it 10 times over? What if i screenshot? Screen record?? What if i had an unknown software that can record and on and on. While i think that that sounds really good, i simply don't see that working unfortunately :/ And on the price, they can't make it expensive because someone will always out price them and use the cheaper on. It's like the iPhone was like $500 when it first came out?? now older phones are like $10 or free sometimes and i think the same thing will happen with ai. Plus if it's something that easy be copied then everyone can have a free copy or version on their own computer. I think this isn't gonna stop. All of humanity has been just making everything easier and more accessible and now this is just a big jump with that. People are ALWAYS going to optimize for convenience and go where the money goes. Even we all are against it, it's not gonna stop something in a foreign country who doesn't care about our opinion from being his own ai tool. This is why I'm never really optimistic on this stuff because it will not stop. it will get better. The only thing we can do is focus on ourselves on a personal level which is why i make these videos so at least some people can stop and think and use this new time to benefit their life in some way. Also yes, i will post more and become more consistent :) thank you for your support as always

exactly. or just a simple crop and cut. Removing a water mark is already so easy today so that simply won't work unless it's somehow embedded deep into the code of the video. but then again, what if i change something in final cut pro? does the whole code fall apart?? idk just interesting, i don't know how they're gonna solve this@@InjuredMuffin2

You won't be able to tell by yourself. You will have to use either tools that detect AI manipulation, or secondary authentication methods.

true. i think that niches and personal content will always exist, i just don't think they'll remain the same size because most people frankly just want entertainment and don't really care about the intent behind it

​​@@malikpeace_ way less than 10 years imo. I’d say we’ll get the first full fledged generative video public services in 2 or 3 years at most. There’s one (not so far) point in time where there will be so many faked, credible content that people will stop believing anything that comes from a screen. Digital space will stop being a source of information, and will only be a space for imaginary entertainment. Starting from here, you can imagine how a paradigm shift it would be from current one : for example, how will officials communicate if nobody do believe what’s coming from a screen ? Newspapers comeback maybe ? What about acting ? Music ? We are definitely not ready.

ai is already getting to the point when i can't tell. not saying I'm a master at ai or anything but I've been doing this for a minute and if someone didn't tell me it was ai, i would've never guessed it was. So i think finding out whether or nothing something is ai or not will be a thing in the past very soon unfortunualy. but yes i don't think everyone will even know how to use it that well. Like sure some will use it but i don't think some people are actually gonna learn it in depth but those who do will actually be able to use it artistically. like me, i use it but i try to make it at least a bit creativity and artistically

It's the introduction phase that is most turbulent. After that we will quickly adapt and get used to it. Once a new technology has saturated the economy/culture, it's just the new normal. When we first started using machines in industrial processes, even tho the benefit of cheap products is obvious, the direct consequences was unemployment and poverty. After some time, the problems get solved or adapted to, and the benefits remain.

@@carlpanzram7081 That is the exact point since these problems will become most prominent with things such as a.i. video or how a.i. itself slowly decreases creative thinking. But I believe at some point everybody will come to agree with each other to not use these things against one another or use them for most of the time as everyone is equally affected by the negative consequences. Since the negatives outweigh the positives we will all settle down and start to use a.i. for the greater good (for the most part) which is where the norm starts. Of course we are all freaking out about it right now because the old fears what the new could become but in reality this is just another beginning that has its end.

i think using ai to come up with ideas is good but soon i do not think real artists will be better than ai art.

​​@@malikpeace_ai will simply become the tool. People will form preferences and thus create a selective pressure that promotes certain "ai artists" over others. Similar to how synthesizers didn't ruin music, or calculators didn't ruin math, this won't ruin art either. It's a paradigm shift, a revolution, but in the end we are perfectly capable of adapting to it. We do it automatically. Children growing up with AI art will figure it out 😂

yes i 100% agree. Real human art can never be replicated because it simply isn't human. BUT that doesn't mean you can make a living from it in the future. on your own time sure but if you're going to try to make art for a living, most people are just gonna want something quick to send to the masses regardless of the intention behind it. For example right. You told me that you make music. People are making ai music right now. If AI music gets to the point when it sounds like human music and can be made 1000x faster, making music for a living is going to become extremely hard. because MOST music listeners just want something in the background, maybe something for a video or whatever, they might not even care or even notice that's not human made. I could be wrong but i just don't think most people who waste their time online are going to care where the media comes from. For example, if you found out the entire video you just watched was ai generated. Would u care? Would it change the message? What if it was but you never found out, would u find out later? Would that change anything etc. If ai can make media just "good enough" for people to watch and consume, it's going to be hard to thrive. because it's faster, cheaper, most personal, more accessible etc. i could be wrong of course but im just giving my honest full objective take on this
