Then after you drank the bud light, did you start walking and dressing like the dewalt guy? From what ive seen, especially in comments sections, milwaukee and dewalt need to switch
@@funwithrcars3129 makita and dewalt are pretty similar, Milwaukee is usually around 20% more, fuck knows why because dewalt outperforms and makita has very similar performance but lasts more than a couple of years because unlike milwuakee they design their tools to be serviced not just buy a new one haha
@tomeglinton9213 all their prices are with like 20$ of each other when comparing similar tools and preformance wise in my experience Milwaukee has always came out on top (again with comparable tools) and I am a aircraft mechanic, carpenter and on my free time auto mechanic. So I've put them all to the tests
@@funwithrcars3129no, they are not. Not in the US anyways. You can look up the prices right now and see how wrong you are. Look up the top line impacts and tell me dewalt isn’t half the price of makita. Look up the top sawzall and tell me the $170 makita is right there with the $100 dewalt. Look up whatever you want nothing makita makes will be close to dewalt. And Milwaukee is right there with makita. It’s been like this for years too.
The Ryobi guy is more accurately portrayed as a dad overwrought with stress and self doubt and just.. wandering down the aisle, completely checked out, eyes unblinking, but expertly avoiding other people afraid they’d upset them
Your description is more accurate than the video lol However, if you ever want to see a checked-out look of hopelessness that screams "is it over yet" go to HD at 6pm and look at the contractors ;)
Yet the ones who feel like they have something to prove buy red or yellow. It's hilarious to me whenever I see my neighbor bust out a $300 hammer drill to tighten a screw.
Good enough for me and I do a LOT. If I need more power. or have a lot to do, I'll just use a corded version. Ryobi palm sanders suck so I use makita for that.
I'm mostly makita but what they don't make I've bought Milwaukee. I even called makita USA to complain about the lack of a rechargebable framer and gave them 3 months. I now have a Milwaukee framer lmao
@@jasonm589also mainly makita and that's exactly how I started buying red tools...because they don't make any decent nailers still and the Gen2 m18s...nailed it.
@@jasonm589my milwaukee angled finish nailer is my favorite tool. I LOVE not having to use the damn air compressor. I love it so much i nailed the tip of my middle finger😂
I just bought a new Dewalt DCF787 because it was on sale with a battery and charger. My Old Dewalt from 2018 still gets the job done with zero problems.
After I got done laughing my ass off I forwarded this to all the guys in my crew that swear by the yellow brand. Half a dozen fu’s and a bunch of laughs. Still chuckling whenever on of them grabs their Dewalt
Yeah.... Thankfully I didn't buy too many Ryobi power-tools before finding out that most of their power-tools are very underpowered (ironically their battery-powered stapler is the most powerful in the industry), no lube inside, and are basically disposable power-tools with built-in obsolescence. Massive inventory of tools that run off of their 18v. battery system. But do you really need 6 or 7 different string-trimmers from one brand? Seriously, that's what they offer. And, it's not just trimmers. Take away the huge redundancy, and the tool selection looks a bit lean.
Don't forget the battery design hasn't changed in forever, while the other more expensive companies keep changing their designs periodically to deprecate their tools and force users to re-purchase everything. Yeah it means the tools aren't as well designed, but the cost of ownership is way lower. Great for homeowners and weekend DIYers.
Its alright, my yellow tools have taken some serious abuse and keep tickin. That moment when your impact drops off the lift when its all the way up, but it hits the ground and laughs.
Yeah but they arnt the same quality. Thats like saying a Cadillac escalade is the same quality as a chevy cruze because they’re owned by the same company.
My coworkers constantly talk shit on my Dewalt tools because they’re not Milwaukee….then borrow them anyways because they don’t have the tool they need 🙄
Ryobi owns milwaukee. Black and decker owns craftsman and Dewalt. They are all made by tectronic industries. As a service plumber, I can tell you. I'm not going to the redwood forest to cut down trees. I might take off one or two panels or cut a little dry wall or wood. Riobi and milwaukee serve me just fine.
@@bendover2158 He's not completely wrong though. There are like 6-7 that own 90%+ tools that you see on the site. Take for instance TTI, they give the big power toys to Milwaukee, the basic homeowner tools to Ryobi, and the kids' toys to Hart.
Nah once you’ve used all every day 12hrs a day 7 days a week you can definitely tell ryobi is shit dewalt Makita or Milwaukee are the way to go for sure. Now if your just bullshiting in the garage on the weekends ryobi might be ok
The newer Ryobi 18v are pretty bullet proof. We bought 8 drill/driver sets for my highschool woodshop class a few years back. So far only one drill has failed. And these tools get ABUSED daily.
2 years ago my rigid set got stolen. I had to buy the ryobi set that morning cause its what i had in the bank. 2 years later they still work and charge like new and i use them everyday. Ill buy another ryobi set befor anything else.
Fr i had better experience with dewalt then makita And in some cases even better them mil But over all mil wins Tho dewalt is a great option aswell some of their tools r insanely powerful
I use Ryobi because they're cheap, durable enough for home/hobby, the batteries last, and the sheer number of specialty power tools they have for every job around the house that all use the same battery is insane! Like my brushless stick vacuum, PEX crimper, handheld carpet shampooer, angle drill, 4 Gal. backpack sprayer (and the list goes on) all use the same battery! So yeah this video is 100% accurate, I am that happy whenever I buy a new specialty Ryobi battery tool 🤣
This is coming from a millwright that travels the country for work. You always see Milwaukee, DeWalt, sometimes Makita, Hilti, and if you see Bosch it's Bulldog rotary hammers. I have seen a Ryobi drill one time that I can remember.
Haha!! I wasn’t expecting to laugh this hard but that shit had me at the dewalt. My wife asked what was so funny so I had to JOKER her and say “you wouldn’t get it”
@awacs337 Definitely not people who's work includes any type of trade. Maybe people who work at McDonald's or Walmart, but Definitely not worthy construction workers.
Hilti - Best with a price. Milwaukee - the most expensive and reliable tools, but heavy if you are doing alot of stuff, gets old. Makita - optimal for everything, pro choice (depends on the shield lable and the country where it came from) Ryobi - tools to keep in a house just in case DeWalt - everything except their small concrete compactors(pokers), just breaks in a few months. Their power tools for screwing or drilling dont have enough torque. And their bits are good.
If only it were so simple - that just ONE of the toolmakers was just "better" than the rest. Instead, Milwaukee has the best dumaflitchit, DeWalt has the best thingamajig and Makita makes the best thingamabob.
I don’t run a shop I’m perfectly content with ryobi. If I actually had a shop or business using tools every day I wouldn’t mind dropping a bit more for tools. Tools have their place. Especially black and decker. Their place is the dumpster 😂
HAVE *"RYOBI"* AND MILWAUKEE 18GA NAIL GUN... THE MILWAUKEE IS HEAVY AND FAIL SINKING THE NAILS.... RYOBI IS NO FAILURE... AND LIGHTER... SINCE THEN MY MILWAUKEE IS JUST COLLECTING DUST ONLY... MILWAUKEE WAS ALMOST $300 RYOBI WAS $99... 😱😱🤣 FOR FEMINISTS... THEY FEEL PAIN WHEN SEE MY RYOBI...
See, no, the Milwaukee guys are the ones who are eager to get on their knees. It's the only way they can afford to buy their Fisherprice play sets, then they proceed to take my Ryobi tools because their Fisherprice toys broke after the first use.
I'm a user of whatever tools get the job done at the best value and price. Anyone who thinks any one brands makes the best tool for everything is delusional.
I buy the same brand all the Mexicans are buying 24 Volt Flex stacked lithium. And yes I made sure to buy the correctly numbered one's that aren't under recall. I don't want black liquid oozing out onto my counter or burning my house down charging my batteries. Other than that my flex either hangs with Milwaukee or smoke's it in some instances. Actually a badass line to switch too. Only Lowe's has it though. Quality tool's for sure.
Milwaukee has the best selection of robust trade specific tools, its really that simple. Yeah they are made in the same factory, but the product lines are different.
I use mostly Milwaukee with Ryobi and Dewalt mixed in here and there, guess that makes me Fleece Johnson...😂 "I likes ya, and I wants ya, now we can do this the easy way or the hard way.. the choice is yours.." Fleece "The Booty Warrior" Johnson 😂😂😂
