I don't know what it was about Pastor Shameka's first comment saying that people ask what she does for her and her coming to realize that she was made to help PD, but it made me think about how most people are living their lives (whether because they found their purpose or are following a calling or just are working where they're at) helping other people. Being a manager at somebody else's company is no more for yourself than management at a loved one's business, and I'd argue it's less so if it's not something you feel invested in. I love her pride and joy in fulfilling her purpose, which is so conveniently tied to the purpose of her husband.
If you haven't already spoken about this, this needs a whole session at the women's conference or online. Beautifully stated about what you felt called to do because we can work or God can use us in every industry but to use our gifts to build our marriage or a spouses' call is beautiful and a CALLING. LOVE Y'ALL 👊🙏🏾❣️ I went to a Christian college and I had a friend/ we were both PR majors and she use to say all the time I'm getting this degree but I'm called to be a wife and a mother and she is a very beautiful successful helpmate. It's beautiful to watch , the fact she knew early what she wanted and what she was called to do and she is living it beautifully.

Ok great convo. The host was really good. Can I just give kudos to the living room & kitchen site in the background. I want that couch they were sitting on.... looked super comfy. The kitchen was too pretty to cook in. Like I might have to hire someone to cook and clean in it😅
