We can’t stop disasters from happening, but what we can do is reduce how much they affect us by being prepared. Extreme weather events and the COVID-19 pandemic have been challenging for our communities.
The experiences over the last 18 months have confirmed that being prepared to deal with emergencies is more important than ever. We need to strengthen our ability to survive, adapt and thrive no matter what comes our way.
Australian Red Cross, State Emergency Services (SES), Lane Cove Council, City of Ryde Council and Willoughby City Council have teamed up to offer residents this free workshop to support our residents to become more resilient in emergencies.
