My high school had a student smoking section until I was a junior. Also, my mom was a middle school teacher that smoked & they had a staff smoking lounge even longer.
Had a Uber pick me up at a dispensary, the driver asked what was I up to 10min later we’re parked at the marina hot boxing the whip. Cut the sesh cuz he got a customer down the block and the car was still full of smoke
I remember being a freshman in college and this kid came into class 30 minutes late with his headphones blaring music and I heard my teacher say to herself this is why I go home and drink a bottle of wine and pass out. I didn’t understand at the time why she was so Pissed but during the pandemic when I had to teach my kids at home I suddenly freaking got it. Kids can be so disrespectful lol…also I saw H Foley and Kevin in Florida with my husband it was magical somehow when our cab dropped us off they were outside smoking and we got a picture with them it was such a wonderful beautiful day 😌💛
The leg suspender things were called shirt stays in the Marines. They clipped to the bottom of your shirt and the top of your socks. They are used to keep the shirt tight while tucked in.

The NJ Transit 319 bus from NYC to AC really isn't a bad ride. It's clean, spacious and the worst thing I saw was a gentleman playing slots on his phone with one hand while fisting a caesar salad with the other hand..no fork.
Also I was in an Uber and got pulled over and the driver was a licensed conceal carry. He was also African American, such an odd stop. I had a Q of good in my backpack and throughout the stop the driver was real proud about how he was handling the situation. Scared shitless but made it through unscathed

lol this just unlocked a memory of 8th grade mr. tintendo who we abused whipping out his acoustic guitar, also being kicked out of class and being told i need jenny craig by a classmate (so tru still do) and then running into him at an open mic recently!!!!!
