A Mom who realizes how much basketball means to you so you she surprises you with a trip to Hall of Fame and then records and cheers you on as you make the easiest shot. That sounds like he has the worlds coolest Mom. No cap…
Tbf the first basketball net was an actual basket. Then instead of getting the janitor to either use a broom or a ladder to get the ball out they learned it was easier to cut a hole at the bottom of the basket. Also it was created in Canada during the winter by a highschool teacher so the kids would have a sport to play inside during the cold winter days.
You should watch the Canadian Heritage moments video about Basketball. The bottom wasn't cut out originally and they were complaining about how climbing up to retrieve the ball slows the game down and wastes time. They suggest cutting the bottom out and some farmer gets all indignant at the thought and says "but I need these baskets back!" lol
He is so good that he didn't miss a single ball and thrown it perfectly. Edit : people stop I don't play basketball and don't watch it too but I am genuinely happy seeing him doing it perfectly maybe it's easy for people who play but he really did a lot of effort for it. And I also don't know how I got this many like but thanks haha.
Yo I was way too busy trying to pay attn to the slight historical and chronological age difference between the styles of each of them that I didn't even notice that the kid got each one til the end.
Basketball hall of fame in Springfield, mass. is a fun place, very fortunate to have grown up only 20 minutes away and being able to go to all the hoophall classic games few years ago Zion and bol bol rolled through it was wild
This is one of my fav memories of my entire life. My first love was basketball, I made a visit to my grandma in Connecticut, and we made the drive to the HOF. I’ll never ever forget walking amongst nba royalty, and how cool everything in there was.
The first basketball hoop was actually A peach basket wear every time they threw it in. they had to get a chair and stand on it to get it out. The second basketball hoop was the same thing, but they poked a hole in the bottom so they could get the ball out with a broom going through the hole at the bottom.
So much innovation. I'm glad they finally figured out that rectangle backboard or not rectangle backboard problem that plagued the sport with controversy for so many decades
I went here with a bunch of friends in High school and it turned into us and this other kid having a dunk contest on the last rim😂😂 mines rimmed out with my fat ass but hey I touched rim. There was this kid who was doing windmills bruh windmills. And then behind there there's an NBA size* basketball court where we had a 3pt shootout. Good times
