This was a life transforming verse for me when I was a young disciple. From 2 Corinthians 1 8 We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. 9 Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.

Yes indeed. That is what He has been speaking to me at the end of each day when I fight disappointment. Instead of lamenting, I have been thanking Him that I am another day closer to His Promises to me. 🙋‍♀️🌈💕

Suffering from the diseases called Fibromyalgia and Lipoedema (and the multiple surgeries) has been a painful long suffering journey; however I've learned that whatever the circumstances I have all that I need for life and Godliness in Christ Jesus. I know He is still working all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. By His stripes I was healed and for His names sake I will not let go of His word which is exalted above His name. I know He loves me and love is healing. I'm not digging around to find "sin" in my life when He's blood is sufficient for yesterday today and forever. I love Him and live in the mystery of my circumstances which I may never understand and I've given up my "right" to understand. ❤

When I broke up with my ex whom I whole heartedly loved, I was so depressed I felt so much pain as the break was too harsh , to imagine this a person I financial supported him was there for him in all he ever needed then he cheated on me and when I decided to confront him he insulted me with so much negative energy this inflicted pain in my heart and my life as whole every day when I think about the ended relationship tears couldn't stop rolling this took me long time ..but then I decided that I will pray to God for a healing so everyday instead of crying I prayed I release my mix emotions towars my Father , after every prayer I felt relieved hopeful and comforted then one day after praying I felt great peace and love again I was able to let him go...once again God restored my joy and happiness I had that peace that surpass human understand it never left me till now. I am so blessed to have God as my father I can proudly say that. I love you father the son and the holy spirit Amen. 😍

So good, cancer is the devil and does not win. When my dad passed away last year of cancer, through all his treatments all he kept saying was I win, if the chemo makes me better I win, if I die, I win because I get to go to heaven. So my dad won his battle over cancer because he is in heaven and I know that I will see him again one day.

I needed this so much being battling with sickness and I have been guilty of chasing the why “I’m one day closer thank you Lord!”

Wow , those are pearls of wisdom! Don’t go on a witch hunt to find out what’s wrong with your life because of your circumstances. This is why people lean heavily on legalism and get into judging other people and beat themselves up . They are running along side themselves and it’s a lack of wholeness. This is incredibly helpful because it helps me to not react in self defence . X

If you want peace that passes understanding, you may have to give up your "right" to always understanding. I really appreciate that. I place my trust in God, whether I understand or not. Thank You, LORD, that You are looking out for the best for us, and that You truly love us unconditionally. Thank you, Bill Johnson, for being such a vessel for the Spirit.

I ain't going to lie hearing what everyone else us going through really humbles me. I can't believe I have the audacity to complain. God probably thinks I'm a spoiled brat right now. And I am. I need go get my mind right.

For the past five years our family has been through hell on earth because of the uncontrollable tantrums of our adopted son. He’s only 14 but we are barely surviving. We understand that a lot his behaviour is simply coming out of his past trauma but it has been a rough ride for myself, wife, and daughter. At the same time we have seen some crazy financial favour from the Lord. We know He is good, but long for His shalom in our home.

Would love your guys prayers. I’ve been contending for healing for 14 years now. I have horrible chronic back pain from a car accident. I want to be healed now and need all the prayers I can get. Thanking an invisible god. A god who supposedly created the universe,and if he did indeed create the universe,then he designed all this chaos,in the first place. So what exactly,are we thanking him for. For turmoil/suffering,and the inevitability of a painful death.

When my grandson died soon after birth I kept asking why. I was going crazy. Finally, I had to say, "I have no right to ask You why and You are no obligation to tell me. I see You as good yesterday & I see you as good tomorrow so I will see You as good today." Things began to subtly change in my life. I wish I had been taught the value of worship at that time. It surely would have helped.

TRUTH BOMB!! “If you want peace that surpasses understanding, you usually have to give up your right to understand.” I'm a "make-it-happen" machine, created this way by God but highjacked by my flesh. The vision God has give me lately is for me to surrender to His goodness like "clay that is fully at rest in the Potter's hand." I have to visualize this every morning, and even throughout the day, in order to put my drivenness to figure life out to death. This means I lay down my natural insistence to know what will come of His moulding.

Legalistic, self righteous church pharisees call these teachings false and it reveals that Jesus is still being rejected today by religious zealots who know God's Word but don't know God.

I live everyday with the promises of God, so why do people grow weary? Do they not know Gods love, and the promises He gives each of us? Or maybe they grow weary waiting on false promises of man? It is my belief that those people have a false relationship with our Father, and because they trust man then they are feeling the disappointment of the lies and false truths told by them!

I like Bill Johnson. Something he said here doesn't sound right. He said if God wishes to correct him that he's always available. That sounds good. but what he's also saying in different words is God knows my address so if he wants to tell me something he can come find me. I've heard him say on different occasions that if we don't see the miracle we're looking for then we get on our faces and cry out and ask God to show us what we need to know. I believe this is the correct approach.

In the last days great signs don't be misled

Acknowledging a God that sometimes brings disease has nothing to do with bringing His character into question. I'd rather serve a God that sacrifices my body temporarily for the sake of saving my soul, than One that takes care of my body while allowing my soul to perish for eternity. Job 42:11 "All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the Lord had brought on him, and each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring." "The Lord brought on him." Not "God allowed Satan" (although He certainly did). God was the very instigator of this cosmic bet, and didn't even justify Himself to Job. God is good because He says He is and not because He conforms or not to my flawed definition of goodness. It's time for the modern Christian to contend with God's sovereignity, the same way Jews and Christians did for centuries. (By the way, this has nothing to do with the false doctrine of predestination - just to make sure we're on the same page.) At some point, trying to tell whether God sent something or allowed it is splitting hairs. The result is the same - unbelievable suffering, if we hold to a limited perspective. We anyway have to accept His paradoxical ways. It's just a diffetent paradox: a loving God that brings some calamity, versus a loving God that assists passively as his children are torn to pieces by the enemy. Or, you know...just this fallen world doing what it does best. Job 5:18 "For he wounds, but he also binds up; he injures, but his hands also heal." John 9:3 is another verse where we see God allowing if not ordaining someone to be born with a crippling disease to accomplish His will. Imagine Lazarus' agony as he was breathing his last breath, feeling betrayed by his friend, unwilling to come and heal him. Imagine Job still having to see ten graves every day - no, he did not receive everything back on this side of eternity. John the Baptist - should I say anything more? There are some hard truths we either don't realize or willingly ignore about how God looks at human suffering. We should be very selective eith our "God would never", because we will have to contend with many passages in the Scriptures. Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things." One day He will wipe away every tear from our eyes, but that day is yet to come. For now, He is more than justified to use whatever means He wants, to accomplish whatever good goal. I don't question His character because of my feelings, Truth remains Truth no matter what. Theology is built upon the Word, and not upon them.

At 3:36, Stay right there, don't venture futher. One of the hardest issues I have had to deal with was God showing me things to come and even offering up my own life could not change the matter. In His sovereignty God allows things we can not understand from this side of heaven but later to be revealed in eternity. Of this I am certain, God always does the right and good perfect thing at HIS perfect time!
