I love how everyone is outdoors despite the snow and making the most of it! It was always weird growing up where I would always be the one who would go out on rainy cold days and people would think that I was crazy but the reality is that you need to make the most of things!
I grew up in MN but have been in sunny socal now for years. This took me right back and warmed my heart with magical memories. Thanks for this piece :)
I'm from the southern US, and we're still waiting for winter. The temperature is currently in the 70s (12/11/2022), but it's raining so hopefully it'll cool afterward. Hopefully it'll get cold just in time for some part of the "traditional" winter season. Hopefully the plants will adapt, and also hopefully my nephew will be able to enjoy winters in the future ... before global warming makes it a "thing of the past".
From the nw burbs of Illinois. Only minor snow - unlike some years, but still bone-freezing cold and cutting windchill. Took a trip up to WI the other week, same thing but more snow. So I guess if it’s gonna be cold, there may as well be snow there for something pretty to look at. Nothing more beautiful than a fresh snow over a flat acre, no animal tracks or boot prints, just untouched. Good vidjeo
I love this so much, it’s so accurate😂 we all get tired of the snow and cold and yet as soon as it’s summer I want it to be cold again. I haven’t had a whole Minnesota winter in a long time, kind of miss it
@@saktalksball9364 by cold I mean like 50 degrees- I really don’t like the heat 😅 at times, I’d rather have to wear a puffy jacket to stay warm than be sweating despite wearing shorts and a t-shirt 🫠
@@saktalksball9364I’ll take the cold over the heat any day of the year. You can always put on more layers. You can’t strip any further in the heat than naked.
My Maui-born wife said “no way” the first time we visited Mankato in December. She’s been mostly happy in Alaska for 17 years now but still wants to get some walleyes.
