Gary O'Neil: "Without even knowing it, are you more likely to give [the goal] to Manchester City than Wolves? "When it’s Man City, is there something in there that influences decision-making?" 😳
@@HaytersTV you’re melodramatic reaction here is why managers will almost never speak their minds. He stressed that the bias was not conscious on referees’ parts but that there may be a pressure to give it to City, which is a totally reasonable claim
The PGMOL admitted, they won't stop their refs from going to Saudi and UAE (Whose government owns City) and being paid 10s of thousands of pounds to work for them. It doesn't get much more clear than that.
dis guy hasn't seen what arsenal have gone through, rice gets full blasted at in the shin and gets sent off, trossard has 0.7 seconds to react to a whistle and gets sent off, saliba gets sent off for a play thats considered a yellow for chelsea (tosin incident). refereeing has been absolutely abysmal this season pgmol needs to pattern up
Im an arsenal fan but lets not make it all about us... he's talking on the standard of refereeing on a whole. Making it about our club only takes away from the point and makes rivals put on their tribalism hat when its not needed and doesnt help the wider discussion.
@@fr33PShe’s given further examples to support the exact point GO is talking about. It’s not ‘about Arsenal’ but you still need to give examples to support your point.
@@fr33PS if anything i'm supporting the narrative showing that horrific refereeing has been across the block affecting multiple teams. dunno why ur arguing with me lad leave a dislike and keep it moving
No team has been more badly treated by VAR and the PGMOL than Wolves. I'm an Arsenal fan and no fan or VAR or the PGMOL but we've had an easy ride compared to Wolves.
He's speaking absolute facts. His team has been on the receiving end of some horrendous decisions in recent years, and NOTHING is being done about the atrocious refereeing in the best league in the world
So when City loses a game all of you mention the 115 and their fight with the league, but when City win you say the League is always in City's favor 🤔🤪 truly delusional all of you.
@@ILoveManCity. That's not delusion, that's very logical. I don't think you're saying what you are wanting to say. And those 115 charges are completely symbolic.
Refereeing in England is abysmal, both on the pitch and VAR rooms (possibly even worse there). Starting from the ref selection (85% from the North, none from London which is quite odd) and appointments (in Serie A refs cannot even be from the same region of either club playing, yet here Taylor who lives 2 blocks from Old Trafford can officiate United, Oliver a Newcastle fan can officiate an Arsenal game when Arsenal are level with Newcastle, Gillet a Liverpool fan can officiate City and Arsenal). Here refs can be paid by City owners to officiate in the Saudi (£20.000 to Oliver) but if City receives the least bookings by the same ref it doesn’t seem dodgy at all… Taylor was sacked from the Euros, here he’s one of the ‘top refs’. Atwell was demoted, still officiates in the PL. Mason (not sure about the name) forgot to draw the lines at VAR, now trains VAR young officials… And the list could go on and on…
This was such a refreshing and less spoken truth by the wolves manager. Kudos to him for saying what every football fan bar the 5 Man City fans have been saying.
The only points I disagree with Gary on are; “they are doing their best” “They are honest” Those refs know exactly what they are doing. The level of inconsistency does NOT point to incompetence it’s definitely something else
The ref's that sent trossard of out 47 times he has ref'ed arsenal he sent off 9 arsenal players. In that same 47 time of refing city 0 times sending off 0 red cards for city. City 5peat here we come. They will fuck Liverpool up next mark my words.
We can all argue from our own club's perspective. I'm a Gooner and I think we've been harshly treated on all 3 red cards this season. But, I know I'm biased and that fans of other clubs will disagree. However, there can be NO disputing that Wolves have suffered more than most at the hands of inconsistent officiating. How this man remains calm is remarkable.
I no longer watch football, I was just scrolling through RU-vid and saw this. The reason I stopped watching was the never ending poor decisions and constant discussions about if the right call was made, it just got boring, makes me chuckle years on the same thing goes on.
Are we even surprised anymore? It's Chris Kavanagh who reffed the game. The same guy : - who comes from the Manchester area - whose brother is a City season ticket holder. - who booked (and sent off) Declan Rice last month, but didn't do the same for Joao Pedro for the same offence. - who sent off Bruno Fernandes vs Tottenham a few games back (before it was retrospectively overturned). - who failed to award Everton a penalty vs City in March 22 for a clear Rodri handball when on VAR panel. These are just a few of many controversial decisions. He's never reffed a PL game with City on the losing side. How this guy us still a PL ref is anyones guess. Definitely on the City payroll. Let's not get started on Michael Oliver (paid by City owners to ref a game in the UAE last season). 🗣️ 💷
I'm with Gary O Neill on this one. Some of these refs have these incredible bias towards to mancity you'd have to be blind not to see it.. Neve ever fails every season almost all the 50-50 decision go their way in tight games. Many people losing faith in this league and they don't even know it.. To make matters worse it's the same team that's in court for cheating smh
The referees in England won't change, unless if they start to bring referees from other countries.but they are corrupt, some premier League games are stage manage
The only way is to bring in foreign referees who are not literally on the Man City payroll. It's disgusting that refs who get paid by Man City to manage games in Saudi are able to ref games with their rivals.
As Liverpool Fan when i think about what halaand did to Gabby at Etihad the last min after They scored and levelled to 2:2 and He didn't booked, Last Season Doku Man city vs Liverpool, The answer is Obvious Man city Owns the League
How long can Man City keep getting favourable decisions from VAR,rivals Arsenal for example had Saliba and Rice sent off in two recent games and what they did wasnt even close to a Red Card Offences its all Man City biasedness.
They can not be question and blame, now it is starting to get out control. The competency of the ref are worst and yet none of them are being drop or replace.
Someone should compile statistics about the referees' decisions made which go in favour or against the City in critical situations. I'm sure the figures will lay bare the shocking facts.
Liverpool and Man City have one of the Best Coaches , one of the best Players in the world and one of the best Referees in the EPL 😡 VAR is on their side. Antonio Taylor and Michael Olivia 👋👏
Everyone talks about the refs but why cant the commentators call out Silva literally blocking the keeping then moving away milliseconds before Stones connects with the ball.
week after week of shit officiating across the board and nothing will happen to the refs. i just don’t understand when the refs will be held accountable. especially chris kavanagh
Will be interesting to see Howard Webb come on Sky and either make excuse or appologise for Chris Kavanagh - guy is actually a shocking referee.. he needs to be banned.
Thank you sir for speaking the truth even if u are charged u will have spoken the truth!!! The world knows it but they are all very intimidated to speak out coz Man City manages everything in the league
He knows he might be on his way out as manager of Wolves so he’s holding nothing back. Saying what all other managers wish they could! EPL refs are a joke the past few seasons, as well as useless VAR.
I used to like this guy, but he's blatantly lying. If you have not watched the game watch it again. He sounds desperate. Essentially burn down the house because things didn't go his way. It's just excuses excuses excuses.
The league is becoming boring and it’s going to miss the world support gradually as it’s becoming like a German league 🤣 only Bayern Munich in England case only Man City 🤷♂️
Var just make it up as they go along giving diferent excuses every time so it suits there agenda var should be scrapped it is making foorball a laughing stock only the fans are not laughing in the end nobody will watch football anymore
Bro chris kavanaugh is city ... city is chris kavanaugh dis brotha yh has no shame when making clear! Descisions in favour of city he went to the screen was told there might be wrong doing an bro jus dgaf n thats sad bcas this jus shows money runs this shit excuse of a league an its not just him its just that 3 city games hes refereed this season an hes sent of two players from the opposition an now this disgraceful distasteful ref goes an gives an offside goal in favor of lmg cityyy!!!!!
Bloody Hell let's send video footage of every match to a laboratory for forensic invesigation and wait a month for the outcome. Can we now hear City's side of the story when Wolves were kicking hell of us. Oh and Wolves Brazilian player had a long trip from Brazil and was tired. What about City's Brazilian players? Did they not travel the same distance. O'Neil, what a whinger. His team are shit that's why they are bottom of the PL.
It's just amusing how refs give some detailed, gaslighting response whenever controversial calls are made against other clubs and then they give a "it is what it is -- shrug**" whenever a call benefits City
