Galatians 3:11-14,16-19,29 KJVS But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. [12] And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. [13] Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: [14] That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. [16] Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. [17] And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. [18] For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. [19] Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. [29] And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Galatians 3:16-19,21-22 KJVS Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. [21] Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. [22] But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

Must Christians follow the Torah?
@maryjovergara9950

The whole Bible is TORAH. Yes, there are lot of Christians, including mini herd and pastors, teach that the Old Testament annulled because we are living in the GRACE PERIOD. That is a lie of the devil - YESHUA, IS THE WORD OF GOD - “ HEAVEN AND EARTH WI PASS AWAY BUT THE WORD WILL NOT”. YESHUA HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE, HE IS ALIVE FOREVER MORE AND SO IS THE WORD OF GOD.

The Torah is... just what Jesus Christ say . If anyone hold to the Torah for righteousness, they are lost. If anyone do the law the way Christ say ( Matthew 5 and all the Words /commands of Christ) out of obedience and love for Christ and glory of God. You are saved.

Not true. The Torah defines righteousness. Keeping it is called being righteous; not keeping it is called sin or wickedness. This is how the Bible defines those words. We are not saved or atoned for our sins because the offerings and sacrifices were removed by God. But He did it after He provided the perfect Lamb sacrifice (His own Son) to atone for all sins. Then He took away the temple and priesthood - those were shadows of the work of Messiah. Consider Zechariah and Elizabeth: Luke 1:5 “There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. 6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.”

@@returntoyehovahthelord6185 we (same) are under the new covenant (new rules) we are a new creation in Jesus Christ to do whatever Christ said( say, Christ's Words stands forever) concerning the law which Christ command us to keep and teach us the right way to do them,Matthew 5,6,7 example. And Christ gave more. Bottom line; we are saved by God's righteousness. Which is Christ, we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ. Not by keeping the laws or anything else . Yes now after we are saved we live in obedience to Christ, doing God's Will.

@@hendrikjansevanrensburg8337 Yes. Good verses. 1 Jhn 3:4 “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” The Bible ends with this: Revelation 22:12 “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.” My point is, Jesus saves us from the curse of the law, or the punishment which the law demands; He did not do away with the Law. Once we are saved, the Spirit empowers us to keep God’s commandments. That’s what Paul meant when he wrote about walking in the Spirit and the Fruits of the Spirit- both are a result of keeping the commandments God gave through Moses. The sacrifices and offerings have been stopped by God, so we don’t keep that part nor can we. The Law is way more than sacrifices. If you read it, He tells us how to treat our fellow man and how to approach God with a clean heart. Unfortunately, the Church has taught us that the law is done away. They are dead wrong. Many never knew this was in Leviticus: Leviticus 19:18 - “Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.” Don’t fall into the enemy’s trap to believe the lie that God did away with His own perfect Law. Maybe read again from the beginning Genesis through Deuteronomy? Search the scripture to see if these things are true.

@@hendrikjansevanrensburg8337 Sorry. No. What did God say the New Covenant would be? Jeremiah 31:31 “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” He said He will put “His Law”in our hearts. Not a NEW Law, God’s same Law. That’s the New Covenant that Jesus brought by his death.

Why do you divide and pull People back under law? Ephesians 2:15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
@nj9888

No. All of Humanity (save only a few perhaps) is living under a “curse”, the bible is crystal clear on that one.

So, for you, someone who obeys God with their life is in the same position as someone who loves living in the sin? Isn’t there blessing for those who obey and curses for the desobedient ones? (Deut 28:15-18) We all know God punished humanity as a whole for the original sin and our entire nature is fallen, but the way we live and wether we keep the faith in Yeshua does make a difference, not to mention all the promises for the ones that are faithful to God in obedience. You can be living under more than ”a curse” depending on wether you walk with God or not. I think that’s the point of the video. Shalom
