What happens if the power grid goes down, natural disaster or management disaster?
how will you survive the craziness that comes with it. ex: panic people who will panic, people who think the world is ending, people who just want to take what you have, and the thieves who will lurk and prey on you and your family in the dark
I like to have my house prepared. whether it's hunting at night to get food to survive if the fecal matter hits the fan. let's face it.....somethings going to happen.
many years being in Law Enforcement, I saw a lot of bad things....mostly when I was working nights.
don't wait till it happens!!!
be able to see without being detected or giving away your position!

You got self-defense covered but what about food, water, light, alternative power sources or medical supplies for yourself family or friends who may be with you? You don't want to be eating a bullet unless there is no other way out. Just My Thoughts...

Havel that covered, plenty of wild life to eat,...to many rabbits hoping around to starve to death....lol. we do canning a lot during the year and put those on the shelf as well. Alternative power is solar power...have that covered as well, plenty of medical supplies if needed. Family is well trained in survival and tactics. The most important thing is to know how to survive these things and not depend on the government to step in to provide or help you. Be self sufficient where family know how to survive themselves and not depending on 1 person in the household to do it all.

I have a large family and we're able to support each other and protect each other when it comes down to it. Nobody's really gonna be ready but some people will be able to whether the storm better than others especially people that don't have a wife and or kids to worry about. The lighter the burden the more likely you are to handle the situation effectively. Also a huge factor will be location, location, location also resources at hand and duration of power outage. Just My Thoughts...
