He's supposed to pay the rent. Even if he didn't have a child he still would have to pay the rent. Plus the child didn't ask to be born so he's not doing them a favor by doing his responsibilities.
I said no to all of them except the pool table one it's in really bad shape but it was given to us by my uncle recently so technically yes but it's been collecting dust in the garage.
for the one that paying for good grades are your parents giving you a tutor or buying assessment books and other stuff, not actually paying the school or anything to get an A
Even if its not much allowances teach so much about finances, I had one and my parents still provided basics. But if I wanted a video game or headphones I would need to buy it myself. Taught me a lot about wasting money on little things. Even if I can’t pay my kids much I will definitely give them something.
didn't know that the good grades thing was a rich people thing. I'm from a middle class family and we used to do those. I thought it was more for people like us since it meant that we actually had to work to earn money, the rich kids I knew back then didn't need to do that well in school because they've got plenty of money anyway.
ever heard of getting up at 6am going to school and getting bullied then coming home cleaning the house doing homework eating supper then cleaning up and being told to do 5 things at once and finally when your done with all of those being told to go to bed but then you remember you have to write an essay by tomorrow so you fall asleep at 3am then saturdays you have swimming lessons and then deep cleaning and sundays go to church and be with your family all day then rinse and repeat thank god im homeschooled
I got paid to go to the gym, for good grades, got an allowance, got money for clothes. But tbh, I really don’t think my parents were rich back then. Now they have it quite good but they were never actually rich
My friends always call me “rich and spoiled” yet I said yes to only 1 and that’s vacation once every year either it’s a 6 hour free car ride or a theme park once every 5 years
Water dispenser:✅ Maid: ❌(Monthly cleaner and nanny but not full time staff) Allowance:✅ Car:❌(can’t drive yet but when I can yes, they bought my siblings cars) Vacation:✅ Grades:✅ Pool table:❌(I have a pool tho😅)
I once had a water and ice dispensing fridge as a kid, my grandparents had a pool table, and my family never went on these big traveling things because it just wasn’t what we enjoyed.
I'm 10 and we have a maid no joke. Her name is Alyssa and we also have a pool table in my basement, water dispenser on a fridge, an allowance of 10$ a week. I don't have a car because I'm 10 lol. I don't get paid for good grades though. Lastly, we travel 4 times a year.
I remember when my Mom bribed me when I was younger by saying for every A I got, she’d give me $15, for A+ she’d give me $25, and for A- she’d give me $10. I passed all my classes with As, varying between the three, and I didn’t get my money. She went out and bought me a $2 chocolate bar. Since then, I’ve gotten many more As, but feel sadness and regret, remembering the past
@@pirilon78 Do you think poor people have quite literally no money whatsoever? And having space for a pool table doesn't automatically make you rich lmfao.
I’m European but my uncle used to have one of those fridges and they’re pretty nice. You get ice cold water and usually they can make instant ice as well.
