My answer is Yeeeees i wanna be a designer and i will be ! I'm interested in UI / UX design for over a year! I left everything behind. I sold the car, sold the TV set, sold everything I had (only the fishing tackle I took to my mother out of sentiment). I went out into the world ... I worked physically in England for 5 years. I felt that I was wasting my life. I felt that I wanted a different life. I felt that I had to change something, I felt that this is not what life is all about. It's decided! I packed my 95L backpack, I took care of all the formalities and set off into the world with savings that give me time to learn! I do not regret! It's been 1.5 years since I learn UX and UI, I already have a lot of knowledge. I put a few pages on wordpress with my friends (so I also made some money, ultimately I want to go full-time next year), it was the best decision in my life! I must admit that Michał's channel gave me a lot of knowledge and education. I don't regret any $ spent on courses Michal. Thanks to the UI book, I jumped on a new design lvl! I 100% agree that it is worth meeting new people, exchanging views, evaluating your projects, you develop! It's fun to meet people who follow you in the same direction as you. Sometimes I also have bad days (but who of us don't), I know that this is what I want to do and I want to be good at it because I fulfill myself as a human being. Every day I learn new things and develop. I regret a lot ... that I could do it earlier, that instead of drinking beer with my friends and partying, I was able to design. But that's life! Now I am 29 years old, I am a happy person, I am developing physically and spiritually. And I know that next year I will officially be called UX / UI designer :) I love the world of UX and UI

I've just finished my low-fidelity prototype and I've started working on high fidelity And there is So much to take in account. But Im not gonna give up. ,,The only way I loose,Is if si quit"

It has been a decade since I started my job as a web and graphic designer, but honestly in all those years I was feeling that my work is not that level of professionalism and even at this time after 11 years I get stuck when not meeting the specific kind of designing a logo or UI. Thank you Michael for speaking the voice of my head and for motivating all of us and you are absolutely right we all get stuck in our lives at some point.

I haven't even started my ux journey and it feels SO OVERWHELMING. The amazing UI that I see only only makes me feel that I won't be able to make that. I'm also currently pursuing Computer Science degree which I have absolutely zero interest in. But I'm also scared to change paths because what if I don't get the job? Do you have any suggestions or advice that might be helpful?

I remember it a year ago when I needed so much motivation, and I watched your videos and other’s too. Now I deal with my parent routine and run to my laptop every day so that I can practice, and I don’t need motivation videos anymore, but I watch yours because it’s pleasure 😊

I know there’s hard time which people (including myself as well) could say that but nothing in the life is easy to reach something desired. That’s why we should never give up cuz there will be days which everything would turn around and we get happy Related to your question my answer is *YES* , why? Because it’s a combination of almost everything I love such as problem solving with research, drawing for illustrations and designing apps by placing elements while applying all the fundamentals. I used to be a Web Developer and python programmer and I liked all those things but I realized I wasn’t paying attention to my talent and that’s why after discovering what UX/UI designers do I said *This probably will be the perfect career*

Wasted precious 3 yrs in imposter syndrome trying to be consistent, but the truth is it's really hard to get going daily. Need motivation like this frequently 👍

Just the kind of motivation I need/needed. The world of UX is made to look like it's something for people with an IQ above 150, which is scary for people like me who are on the starting line just. But, thanks to you for the crusading work you do to keep that off the bay :)

Imposter syndrome is a serious issue I have. I was on LinkedIn yesterday and this young lady was talking about how she wasn't selected for an apprenticeship even though she was in the latter stages of the interview process. She goes on to say that she has done 600+ applications and still struggling to get off the ground. For someone who just started this journey a few months ago, reading that was worrisome 😥

Hey, I am currently a mechanical design engineer, I have a lot of intrest in ui ux design. So I am taking google coursera course. Currently i am on 1st google course. But everytime I just had same feeling how I am gonna get a job or how I am gonna complete my portfolio. And how this job gonna help me thru my finiancial need which currently I am fulfilling by my current hob bh 6.5ctc INR PACKAGE. Also i have doubt about me as I am 29 years old and had 7 years experience in mechanical design. I was trying to taking part time course of MDES. But college is given me oppurtunity. So Yes I am afraid sometime, that all that my nights effort after 9 hours job, will be usefull or not.
