Pile 2; lots of secrecy, there's a huge barrier, not letting anyone to let in. I'm overprotective of myself, I'm still finding a new way to heal from traumas (not related to romance or relationship) it's hard to open up, the fear of vulnerability and betrayal is intense. I hope someday I'll find someone that is trustworthy, someone who I can share my secrets without hesitating or force. I trust my intuition and guts, coz it protects me and it's always right. I'm finding my way out from manipulators or controlling people, even when I'm assertive they can be really like holding you like a puppet, and they lack empathy which I really dislike, and makes me more distant. I'm still challenging myself to face people like this. I'm very patient to find my soulmate or future partner.

I’d love to share a little ☺️ I met someone a month ago (right around the time you uploaded the video!) in very lucky circumstances while making my childhood dream come true. I’d been single for a long time and have taken the time to get to know myself better and process and heal through some really important things. A month ago, I’d been solo traveling (so scary, so exciting, such a huge dream of mine) for 6 months and was finally visiting Hawai’i which I’d felt drawn to for years. He sat down next to me in the airport shuttle bus. We started chatting, and connected, as fellow travellers. Decided to exchange numbers and meet up some time in the days that we were both on O’ahu. We ended up meeting up to grab some food the same day - which then escalated into having beers, long walks, midnight hotel-lobby-dwelling and the most electric, time-stopping kiss ever. Before we knew it, we were hanging out for five days straight, sharing stories, thoughts and feelings, while watching college baseball games, lobby dwelling, having drinks, sharing great food, watching live music, taking hours-long bus rides around the island, listening to music together and taking midnight walks on the beach. And yes, sharing more of those kisses 👀🤭 I went on in my travels (still Hawai’i, but different island) and he’s back home. we’ve been talking every day since, and will be meeting in Europe in June. I’m from the Netherlands and he’s from New Zealand. Who would’ve thought we would meet in the middle of the Pacific, at such a perfect time in our lives? We’d both been doing our own thing in life and figuring things out, building and letting go, and we’ve both been blossoming in these past months as we’ve been growing into our truest selfs. Neither of us feels desperate for a relationship - we just met, love each other’s company, are so genuinely interested, and are letting things unfold from there. Yeah… This is my healthiest and happiest romantic meeting with anyone so far. Let the chips fall where they may 🥰😊😊 Also, his favourite color is yellow 😂😁 such a fitting reading!! @@milaozpetek6550 Hi, so sweet of you to ask! Thanks!! I have major updates, haha. I decided to go down to visit him in New Zealand in April, and we cruised around in a campervan for three weeks. It was all the things: amazing, sometimes uncomfortable and awkward, and such an adventure. In June he came over to the Netherlands for three weeks, to visit me here. We've met each others families now, and made it official (a non-monogamous relationship, which we are defining and exploring step by step as we go along) in June. And guess what! He got offered a job in Canada which he started in September, I got my (working holiday) visa last week, and literally booked my flight tickets a couple hours ago! We're gonna live there for about a year. Next step in the adventure. Can hardly believe it as I write this all down!

#4 I really don’t understand it when gurus and readers say “put yourself more out there” or “open up” as if there is some magical button to be pressed and everything will be fine. Life unfolds the way it wants to. You can stand on a square full of people with a sign that says “I am open to love” and be genuinely ready but no matter what you do it just won’t happen. People act as if we can manifest anything and if we really tried harder to be “out there” out lives would be different. That’s simply not true. We have very little power over what life throws at us. We can just adapt and make the most of it. Sometimes it gives us the right people, sometimes it doesn’t give us anything no matter how open or closed we are.
