Samsung s24 plus dont scan axe75 tplink router 6 ghz ssid. Neither do it connect with qr code or manually. I spend significant amount just to connect to 6ghz. Can you share your thoughts if there is any issue with my new phone or with the router or with something else. Also what devices combination is compatible and works well with 6e?
So basically, you're telling me I waisted my money upgrading my rog laptop wifi card from a wifi 6 vir to a intel wifi6e card. And this is why my laptop will not show my 6ghz network. I know the network is up and working because my quest 3 picks it up just fine.that sucks. My Laptop has windows 11 updated and latest clean installed driver for the wifi 6e card and it won't show the 6ghz band. I just ordered 6ghz antennas hadn't thought about that was only 8$ so worth a shot.
It could be. In our testing, we found several vendor laptops that have 6E chipsets but validated that the vendor either locked the BIOS (they say due to regulatory reasons) or didn't connect the antenna for 6GHz. You can validate that one, as you should still be able to see the AP if it's on the lowest channel with a 6E adapter, but you can't see any higher channels, it's likely the antenna. If you can't see anything 6GHz at all, it's likely BIOS locked. Stinks because we always tell clients to purchase based on the chipset, but early releases may or may not have support even with the right chipset.
@chrisavants dang it probably is bios locked then I see no 6ghz at all. But we will see, the antennas arrived today so I will update soon maybe they will be all I need.
I tried the antenna upgrade and tried everything I could think of and no 6ghz. Well, it was worth a shot that just sucks. Bought an intel ax210, wifi6e antennas updated to latest of windows 11 and clean installed latest wifi drivers with many restarts and retrys. What a waist. I do have 2400mbps up and down on 5ghz but still no 6ghz. Maybe one day this will get solved.
