This was a beautiful reminder that we are to be CHRIST-conscious and not SELF-conscious. 🙌🏼 I did want to appeal to the comment that David danced in his underwear. An ephod is not underwear but a garment worn by the priests that ministered before The Lord. His wife got super angry with him because he took off his royal garments and put on an ephod. She was embarrassed that he would look like a priest and not a king. Just wanted to submit that for you to study if you’d like. Thank you again for sharing these reminders. They were so helpful! This was sooooooo good! I can't tell you the amount of times I've thought to myself "l'll just wait until I lose wait to dance." Do people wait to preach, evangelize, or sing until they lose weight? Then our gift is no different.
I am 64 & overweight. I have been dance with Flags for over 20 years. This was an issue for me years ago. Why would God call an older, overweight woman (40 at the time) to dance and flag for him???? Because I said YES! He calls many but so few answer! Area is so right! It does not matter! You focus on HIM and he will take care of the rest! I would suggest a couple of things: 1. Practice at home. So you feel comfortable and confident in your movements. 2. Do a bit of strength training if you are able. Nothing heavy or fancy. Just build up the muscles a bit. Confidence is a game changer!!!
I am 4'11" and not skinny. The enemy tried to tell me I was too short and not thin enough. Jokes on him. I did it anyway and because I did when I looked at the video God showed me how feminine and beautiful I was. I truly felt like the bride! I am 64 years and overweight. I yearn to praise the Lord with flags. There is a worship team of young girls at the new church I'm going to...but wow, is it being difficult for me now. I say now because I was a worship team leader and teacher more than 25 years ago. I'm not looking into being a leader or teacher but I miss praising the Lord freely. I'm praying for the Lord to guide me. Thank you for a great video ... had to be said.
Yes I was thinking about my body and my age, but I am an instrument of God, My Father, Creator, Savior, Yahew and the Holy Spirit let me know it's not about you and I started study and ordering Flags and moving to Worship My Father. I love this gift and I use it every opportunity, but I have other work to do because I am an Evangelist and I know that comes first, but whatever the Holy Spirit directs that's what I do. Be also ready. Love your channel keep teaching and doing the Work that is much needed.

You are so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so much right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have prefect body, but dance with flags. If someone do not like it, that person is in problem, NOT me, or you or some other non perfect looking flagdancer!!!!!!!!! I wish to be able for flagdancing for the rest of my earthly days, I really do love to praise God that way!!!!!!!!!!
Being a super petite 4 foot seven I have always had body awareness issues and low self-esteem struggles. Your video was very helpful in getting the focus off of myself, and just letting go and worshiping the Lord because it’s all about him and shouldn’t be about us. I have a question; how do you deal with the wind when you are flagging outside? The only place I have to practice is my front yard and here in Florida. It is always breezy/windy. Thanks.
Glad the video helped. I also worship outside near the water where it is windy. It definitely takes practice but you learn to flag with the wind - like a sailboat. At first I was discouraged when the wind would whip up my flags and then I had a revelation that heaven was joining in the worship so that's when I learned how to move with the wind instead of against it.
