Thanks for the vid. But ain't these uncontrollable things affect the revenue growth which in turn will affect the future cash flows and thus valuation? Many industries depend heavily on policies, which in turn is "said" to affect ones prediction on the growth of those industries. (Although personally, I believe that the major policy of govts. is not changed drastically) However, I agree focusing on the controllable things like position sizing, valuation risk appetite should any day have higher weightage in decision making.

Sir what all you said is 100 correct but at the end of the day there has to be a govt with strong numbers and a coalition govt is just like having 20 CEOs for a single company where a correct decision can never be made ! Indian states are completely different from each other and they are placed at different stages and the requirements are different ! If we get a rule where prime minister himself cannot take a decision what is the use of investing in a country ? Since there is no chance of Congress getting a majority one should say openly that BJP has to get into power with confidence ! Playing this secular game that we need to carry on with whatever is coming is not right in the long term ! Majority govt is like having a Good and strong CEO and everyone in stock market likes a strong management !
