I got to shoot with Craig from Area 419 at last months Vortex Sandstorm match. These guys are really good people and they are all competitors! It shows in their product development.
Love their stuff. It’s great to see support for their products cause they’re products are top of the line and very innovative. Definitely want them to keep making more! Great video and keep up the content. Your videos are always done so well. 👍🏻
It's amazing how they have developed products to help eliminate human error as much as possible. Glad to see you got your 419 stuff, I'm sure that was a relief.
They do make good products. Thanks for the review. If I don’t get to talk to you before you guys head to the match. Best of luck to you guys and have lots of fun.
Area 419 makes great stuff but even better customer service! I had a issue with a hellfire suppressor mount and they answered me right away on a Saturday night through Sunday. Even followed up with me a couple months later. That arca is a nice edition to that AI 😏
This is a bit humorous to me since, as a photographer, I've used Arca ball heads and QR mounts for decades. And I have heaps of RRS plates for various cameras and lenses. Nice to see them in the gun world. Quality transcends boundaries.
Thank you for this video. I just purchased an AI AX in part from following your channel. I too was looking to add an Arca rail and was undecided on this or the Victor Company handguard replacement. The Victor is probably a lighter weight option but I think this has some functionality that it is missing.
The main issue I ran into with the ARCA up front is interference with side mounted IR lasers. You just about need the smaller footprint of ADM type mount on the AI to work with a PEQ-15 or ATILLA 200. Granted I am doing more night shooting than match, but just something to consider. I have to be semi local to you. If you ever want to do a video with a high FOM WP clip on hit me up.
Hi bud I’m new to the channel and just getting into the long shooting scene, just picked up the AI AXSR with a Tangent Theta scope. Great videos out of the channels on here this is one of the better ones.
Thanks Dominick and congratulations on the new AI. They are great rides for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting on the channel. Those TT scopes are top shelf !!👍🏼
Nice upgrade, but he may end up not liking that barricade stop so far forward. I Dremelled the heck out of my 419 rail to get it to mount all the way back to the magwell.
@@XRING Oh I trust you, i was just pulling your leg. If things work out in a timely fashion hopefully in a month or so You and Rick will have a new toy to try out. Goodluck this weekend at the match also @XRing🤙🇺🇲
I can’t believe that Rick left his rifle with you. LoL. Just give him 5 minutes and he’ll have it painted. Haha. Good review on their stuff. Not that I need any of it, but it’s cool to see what all is out there.
@@XRING Most of the stuff we get is fairly sterile. But for some reason in tiny lazer etched print these parts had Kryptonic on them. If your familiar with china lake SW&PD. Im sure they can head you in the correct direction. Working for Microtech and having mil funding is the only reason i would mention this to you. Cant wait for next vid Ray.
checking in to see if you still like the 419 arc rail for your AX? was thinking of getting one, wasn't sure if you found a better product then the 419 after a year. thx
He normally runs the Vortex Razor HD. However, PRS makes you run in open division with his scope. He wanted to shoot production division which has a 2k cap on the optics price. I loaned him the Primary Arms Platinum for the match. I think it has an Era Tac mount. I don’t recall and I am not at the house 🤣
