Spent 2 nights camping outside the area 51 gates (both the front and the back) to see what the camo dudes would do. We got a surprise visit from a Blackhawk!
I remember in older videos, that gate didn’t used to actually have anything except for signage. Looks like they improved that area so that nobody could accidentally blow through that gate anymore.
They are bought/leased/owned by private companies that are contracted by the government. Every single “camo dude” you see is a “civilian” contractor. They have their ROEs but have a LOT more leeway than the military does outside those gates. Long story short, they aren’t directly paid for by tax dollars and owned by our government.
Great video presentation ! No doubt you got the attention of the camo dudes , usually they do not come that close they watch from the distance . Also which camera did you use , the video is so clear almost picture perfect .
@@DanO530.8 the “camo dudes” are patrolling public lands and roads. If they stayed on base then i could see “not bugging them” but when they come out of the gate, they’re in public so if they don’t want to be filmed either stay in the chow hall or stop fuckin with people that just come to see lights in the sky.
@@gregkrueger331 yes very true no one is trespassing on gov land ….. but in the high government called silent silent services they have no laws that they can be punished on by any judge these guys are exempt believe it or not …
I bet they get giddy with excitement when they spot lone vehicles on the cameras and get the order to buzz them with trucks and choppers to shoo them away.
all I have to say is that Camo Dudes have some badass trucks, I mean they use Raptors to patrol, now Imagine them intimidating people with a TRX, now that is frightening

It still is a fact that everything outside the gate is public land, so those camo goons have no jurisdiction there. Their only task is not letting people inside the outside perimeter of the base (which by itself is still 10km further away).

The proof is already there because when you cross the line the camo dudes will 'arrest' you, but they call in the local Sheriff to prosecute you. But only when you cross the line. Those two (famous) bikers, who had guns in their faces, were warned by that (fat) camo dude, "I give you guys a chance, get your bikes and get tha hell out of here, otherwise I call the sheriff and give a 750 dollar fine". That guy had no jurisdiction and if the bikers had refused, letting the sheriff coming over, would have come to the conclusion those bikers did not break the law. In other words: that camo dude was bluffing and intimidating with his gun. (Have to admit, being in a desert, with a gun pointed at you, will not easily make you say "I won't!"......)
That chopper was 100% sent to scan your vehicle. The have tech in board that can tell every single electronic from in your hand to what's in the vehicle. Weapons signatures radioactive devices that pretty much just painted you for what ever countermeasures are hidden in the large vast perimeter. It's pretty wild even there you're 20 miles away from the base
As much as I’d love to know what kind of shenanigans go on inside that base, I don’t need to know. Some of the things that do go on in there are the reason our enemies don’t mess with us, so I’m perfectly content in leaving well enough alone.
They prob have long boring watches filled with yearly/quarterly sexual assault/trafficking persons training, and computer security awareness stuff. And porn. And food. And movies.
There is a guy who snuck in and camped out for a day or two. Google it. He was documenting about the old wagon trails and hold miners called the death valley 49ers
I'm all for knowing our tax $ are being spent responsibly. And I'd love to b among first to see our newest tech in flight. I'm a v curious and analytical geek. But unless you have direct oversight, like a Congressional Comittee, all you can prove is that the gates work and you can provoke security. What am i missing?

Back in the 90's I used to go up the hill where the contracted security personnel now park their vehicles to overlook the area, the perimeter that leads to the gate shack not far from the warning signs. Now of course the Air Force has taken that spot. They didn't like the idea of my using various types of surveillance equipment. We once sent in a remote control "crawler" with listening devices and a miniaturized camera that recorded the security guy's conversation's. Oh well.... Can't expect to do that again. The Hill was the location a signal booster was placed. They know all about it now. But we're clueless back then. I'm still laughing at them. Just like when G.C. found their devices along the road on BLM land. So funny. 😊
The camo clowns make things a lot more dramatic than needed. Just go up to the camper, politely introduce themselves as "base security" and see what's up. Black helicopter my ass...
If you're not a regular around the perimeter, they want to know who you are... They will subscribe to your channel and run your plates with the police.
get the being curious about area 51 base you are not going to see anything .so why piss off armed security guards that are there to do a job im not getting pissing off the camo dudes sorry.
I’m not knocking you from trying to see but why waste your time these guys have a job to do and if the government wanted you guys in then you would be in you would hate it if a thousand cars parked in front of your house every day to see what’s in your backyard Area 51 is a highly classified guarded area give the cammo guys a break quit stressing them ….

They are on public land, up to Area 51 fences is BLM (Bureau of Land Management) property. It is open for public use; they are not violating any laws. If the "camo dudes" or the military gets "provoked" that is just too bad, as the cause of their provocation is their own arrogance in thinking it's okay to harass people who are enjoying a perfectly legal hike, walk, or camp on land that the base has no legal control over, cross the line into Area 51, that's a different story. Like many have stated here, the actual base is miles away and out of sight from the gate. What draws people to the area is probably just simple fascination of the mystery of Area 51 in my opinion.
