It feels good to get clean and organized. I did this you may or may not want to do this. I put dollar tree puck lights in some of my lower cabinets. The tape did not want to stick well, but I put a dot of hot glue. It really does give you a lot more visibility. I placed some in closets as well. I had already ordered puck lights off Amazon for under my upper cabinets some time ago that are battery operated. I love them. If Our power goes out, it is the handiest lights to get what you need in the pitch black. I enjoyed this series. Thank you for sharing.

I have a similar trap in my dishwasher but I unscrew the middle piece from the mesh around the side and it makes it much easier for cleaning the two pieces separately.
Everything looks great. I have started cleaning the appliances in the kitchen. Pulling stove and fridge out and have done little organizing a little also. Slowly, but surely I will get it done. I know you are feeling so accomplished that your kitchen is so clean and organized. I enjoyed the series for sure. ❤😊
Great series. I empty my silverware exactly like you do. It makes it so easy to dump it out on the counter and then put it all away. And I also clean my microwave like that. It works so well. Thanks for all the fun inspiration
I put my silverware in the dishwasher already sorted. The only thing you have to make sure your spoons, don't spoon each other. It makes putting up the silverware much easier and quicker.
We have a lot of citrus trees where I live so, I slice lemons, oranges or even grapefruit and place in A bowl of water and microwave for three minutes. It works fabulous.

Oh my goodness Julie, I'm too scared to open my trap of my dishwasher 😅. I don't think I've ever pulled it out. I have used the cleaning tablets, they work pretty good, but watch the news, I may be killed by my dishwasher. 😂
Julie, the next time you do it, put hot water in the cup.No , i'm sorry , put vinegar in bacon soda in that cup with some hot water and put your cloth through down in there and it will just clean it really good

I always have to buy extra for as well. We’re only three in the house but when mom, my kids come and the grandkids and the daughter-in-law’s and everybody becomes tour where we need them forks. …lol
I put our dishwasher on and didn't wait for it to finish before we left for a 3 week trip. As soon as we went into the house when we returned we were knocked out by what I thought was the odour of a dead rat 😮 we opened all the doors and windows and started hunting for the body. Over an hour later we hadn't found anything. Then I opened the dishwasher. I had, as usual, cleaned the dishwasher filter and ran it empty with household soda the day before we went away but there was a 2cm piece of fish laying on top of the mesh from the last meal we had before we left. These days I am extra vigilant. I have no wish to repeat that experience 😂
I took a really nice box of really cute items to Goodwill here in Houston to the donation center. I’m trying to clutter. My house is so small that I really can’t keep stuff like I can’t net it clutter. It’s just too small of a house. What’s in here is in here and that’s it I’m hoping to do my fall decorating. I only do to the parts of the house to decorate, but I’m hoping tomorrow. 🍁
It came out really good. What did you do and how much did you get rid of? Did you have a pile of that to show just asking? Did your daughter take some of it?
But Julie…I’m not done canning yet. Who will keep me company while I’m still in the kitchen with corn, peaches and tomatoes? Oh well, I’m just not as fast as you I suppose. I did enjoy this series but I got no cleaning done. For me that’s an after canning process. Look forward to all your visits Julie, both inside and outside as well as the thrift joints!!!:):):)
