British holidaymakers last night told of being held 'hostage' in their hotels after staff threatened them with eviction unless they pay thousands of euros following the collapse of Thomas Cook. Liam Archer and his partner Ciara Edwards, both from Gloucestershire, claimed they were asked to pay an extra £832 by Arena Beach Hotel in Fuerteventura, Spain.
