@@JakeRaymond7 Ear protection in real life sounds similar to this to me, quiet noises are a lot more pronounced, you can hear things like the fabric of your pants shifting in detail even if it's subtle.
?? Tarkov players (me included) are happy, finally a game can fight with tarkov, those who are crying are not tarkov players really. And the footsteps sounds like that because the character is wearing Headsets, in tarkov is similar, and even worst because the sound is one of the most broken things on that game
Wow what a big improvement to the game I’m really impressed looks nice and playable 👍 just the character movement while shooting needs some improvement and that’s it
For everyone wondering, Headsets make footsteps louder. if you hear your footstep very loud, it's not that much loud from the enemies POV. It's just loud in your POV to really make you know what movement state you're in.
For people that thinking the sound is too loud, he using a headset, im talking about the in game headset, not headset that you wear when playing. This game have different kind of headset, that who cancel noises (In mobile is kinda useless because only cancel ambiences sound) and there the one who enchance the sound.

Can someone explain this game to me ? Is it a sandbox like dayz? Is it a pvp multiplayer game within a small map? Is this like warzone? I’m just confused
The player are using a combat headset, it mostly blocks high decibel sounds like gunfire and enhances ambient sounds, hence the compressed audio all around
