Hii Allison please learn to level the top of measuring cups/spoons when you bake. If you don't level, you add way more than you are supposed to and that can ruin the recipe. When I measure flour I take the back of a butter knife and slide it across the top of the cup with flour in it. whatever your measuring should be level with the measuring cup itself. You should do this for everything, even for tablespoons and such. For tablespoons though you can shake it til its level. hope this helps!

when you measure flour you’re supposed to put spoonfuls of flour into the measuring cup instead of just sticking the measuring cup in the bag
