My latest favorite. Love the tiny drum set with the sweet, dry tuning. And Ari just merges with it. I wonder how long it took him to find that ride? Nice stick sound with a bit of swish and crash, as needed.
I feel like his technique isn't that great and his intonation are off at times... But who cares! He drives the band like a motherf****r and is totally locked in with everything the others are playing. Being musical should always come before technique.
That's the magic of music... Sometimes you find people who just seem to be on your wavelength at all times and moments like this end up happening all the time. However, it's rare to find a group of musicians who are connected on the level that these guys are. Mind-blowing.
