And for the similarity with gujarati dance, there's nothing surprising because its a folk dance and literally every folk dance around the world looks like this or at least for whole of asia, dhol is a totally hindu/rig vedic instrument, so its rather afghans who have taken this from us after all Afghanistan is our very own ancient gandhara or pushkalavati.
