Love Aria. And, mostly get my stays comped thanks to the generous MGM Rewards program, which also offer spa/food credits and slot play. Aria has several exceptional fine dining restaurants and now also offers low cost food options at the new food hall. They always let me check in early or late with no additional fees.
Unfortunately my two experiences at Aria were subpar. They were rude at the pool and the suite was dirty and one room had water leaking from the wall on the carpet. We have had better stays at Vdara, Delano and even the NoMad. It must be how management trains staff. Glad you had a good stay.
Awesome update video. Glad things have improved at Aria. It's one of my favorite casinos to play in and love all of the food offerings, especially with the new food hall. Looking forward to the next video!
Hi! 🙂 Appreciate the video and seeing your guest star, Julian. 😁 I'm not a fan of most of the newer casinos that are huge and open with a shopping mall feel, but it helps so I can see where I don't want to go when I return. ❤️
This video makes me happy! I love Aria above all other properties but haven't stayed there since moving to LV. So glad it's back in your eyes! Great video and great to see my bro Julian!
We stayed 4 nights at Aria back in July of 2021 and it was a complete disaster. I sent them a review per there request and I didn't hold back on anything. Never heard anything from them. We said that they will never get a penny from us again, but because of your review, we will have to give them another chance. Keep those videos coming.
As always keep in mind everybody’s experiences differ. Some are saying some of those problems still exist but I sure didn’t find them. Thanks as always for watching!
Keep in mind, that any stays in 2021 were still during the pandemic, and EVERYWHERE was short staffed (some places/industries still are). Hard to keep an enormous resort in “perfect” condition when you don’t have enough staff to keep up on every little issue. Are the issues you experienced acceptable? Nope. But you MUST consider the situation at hand.
@@JPumpkinKing This is true. I stayed though during the 2020 part of the Pandemic and had a GREAT experience at Aria. None of the issues any person experienced so I'm sure experiences vary. All properties drop the ball anyway from time to time with the high number of rooms managed at each one, my guess at least.
Did you not give Aria a break, because the last time you stayed here was during Covid? Help was hard to get. could’ve been the reason for a lot of the problems.
@@Lyndaflackman As I said, because of Jordan's review I might give them another chance . If they didn't have the help then they shouldn't accept the reservation period.
Based on this review I booked 4 nights in July at Aria. I always wanted to stay there but got better deals at other properties. Lucked out this time and was able to get a Corner Suite comped so I am very excited.
We just stayed in the Sky Suites at Aria for my 40th birthday last month. 2020-2021 were definitely rough years, but aria has come back and will always be our preferred property in Vegas.
Night and day difference. Staffing seems to be the key. They had maintenance staff all over the building last weekend, which is why it’s in such good shape once again. Thanks as always for watching!
Glad to see everything was good and the room was clean. I’m booked in a tower suite in May and a Sky suite in October so this is comforting news. I love Bardot and Jean Jorge’s restaurants . The lobby bar is great too with the live music. Great video sir 😎😎😎
I totally agree with your comment about the clientele. I was there in 2021 also, and the atmosphere inside was like walking the strip on a weekend night. People were loud, obnoxious, I even got a wiff of "smoke" at one point. I've been to Vegas about a dozen times since then and have never gone back to Aria. Maybe i'll give it another visit..
@@ShowMeVegas That's true. I was at LV on the last day before they closed for 3 months at the start of the pandemic, and I was in LV on the day that they reopened. The reopening trip was weird weird weird! Then I continued going back every couple of months and the general demographic up and down the strip was not inviting. I definitely would not let my wife walk the strip alone at any time of the day, nor did she even want to. Your head needed to be on a swivel and your street smarts dialed up a few notches. Anecdotally the change in demographic was attributed to all the hotels renting rooms at very low rates for the first year after reopening and thus attracting a low-rent crowd analogous to scavengers. That said, I can't complain about getting a corner suite in the Cosmo Boulevard Tower for $125/night! I'd say it took slightly over a year for the general demographic to swing back to normal. I go to LV often and I choose Aria most frequently, and my experiences mirror yours, Mr. and Mrs. Show Me. I had some unacceptable experiences two years ago. I've been there over a dozen times since, and they're trending back in the right direction. Even more so if you can get into a corner suit, which were all well-maintained even during the bad times. I'll be there again next week! I'd love to meet you two. You remind me of a couple that my wife and I love socializing with, and we always make a beeline for the adults-only pools, which seems to be your inclination as well. Cheers from a new subscriber!
Aria was my first stay in Vegas via MyVegas back in 2013ish and we were hooked yearly until also a bad stay in 2020. Also glad they're back. Great upscaleish strip hotel with no real tourist attraction (love that about this property)...glad they're stil in 4-5 star ranking.
Glad to hear this, as I've got 9 nights at Aria booked for the start of my summer trip. Never one for buffets, so I'm really excited to try the new Proper Eats options, too. Great video!
Great video on Aria...glad they took care of the problems for us who stay and spend money, etc.. Wife and I will be next door at Cosmo in May then 3 more visits this year. No Mad, MGM Grand & Vdara. We hope too meet you and Ashden soon. Proud subscribers and followers. Thanks.
Really glad things are looking up at Aria. We are staying there for 3 nights next month. We’re Platinum, so managed to get the Corner Panoramic Suite comped. Very excited about it, but not looking forward to that LONG walk to the room. HA! HA! 😜👍
Great video. Good to see things were much better this time. Question though, toward the end of the video, it was mentioned that the room could use an update. What does that mean to you? Colors, style, materials? What needs updating and how should it be updated? Especially considering in the beginning of the video you stated your impression is the furniture was possibly new. Thanks 😊
Colors and decor for sure. The rooms almost exactly as they did in 2009 when the hotel opened, which is an eternity for a Las Vegas hotel. The design was initially very modern but is now looking tired, IMO. Thanks for watching!
We are contemplating staying at Aria for our 2024 trip, either there, MGM, Caesars or Planet Hollywood depending on where we can get a good deal (not just cheapest to stay). We want somewhere lively and pretty central to the strip but also with a solid pool and a poker room so got to balance all of that up. Your review helps us a lot.
I’ve stayed at the Aria multiple times and my mother and I love it besides the fact we have came across staff that are rude, but other than than we enjoy our room. We are with their rewards program and get great up grades here and there. Grand MGM used to be where we stayed the most, their pool and lazy river is great. So in my opinion you can’t go wrong with either, Vdara is also good place to stay for convenience. It also includes a kitchenette.
Aria has always been my favorite but 2 years ago our stay was filthy and management didn’t care still eat and play there but never will I stay there Wynn is my new favorite!
Honest opinion: Stayed at the Aria this week for five nights for a conference. Best summary is if The Hard Rock Hotel is Rolling Stones, Nirvana crowd, the Aria is the Rapper crowd of Snoop Dog and Cardi B. Rooms were dirt cheap at $139 plus junk fees. Nothing “upscale” here. Saw a very large women breast feeding an infant while playing a slot machine. (You can’t unsee see moments like that.) My room looked good with the shades drawn, but in sunlight the furniture was banged up and chipped up. Clean, but the towels were like sandpaper. The Promenade was the best part of the hotel. Spa, fitness center were very nice. Jean George was a solid “8” Lemmon Grass was a “9” some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Another observation. People must not play live table games as much as before. This hotel has 4,000 rooms and at 5 PM only 10 BJ tables were open and at 9 PM 15 BJ tables open. 10 years ago all of the BJ tables would be open. Maybe because most tables were $25 and up with a few $15 tables. Apparently way more people play slots.
Keep in mind, that any stays in 2021 were still during the pandemic, and EVERYWHERE was short staffed. Hard to keep an enormous resort in “perfect” condition when you don’t have enough staff to keep up on every little issue. Are the issues you experienced acceptable? Nope. Gonna have to disagree with you here. Consider it? Sure. But it doesn’t excuse it in the least. If a hotel doesn’t have the staff to maintain and clean 4,004 rooms to an acceptable standard then it shouldn’t be selling 4,004 rooms. We had plenty of good stays at other hotels during the pandemic, so it was certainly possible with good management.
I’ve just returned from a stay there and unfortunately I left feeling disappointed! Staff seemed off, no warm welcome including front of house and door staff. Terrible smell throughout, probably partly due to all the people smoking but also the lack of ventilation. The temperature throughout was set too cold especially in the hall ways were the cold would blast you from the vents. Excessive costs for food and drinks from within the convenience stores ($16 for a bud)!. Positives are decent looking hotel and good location, pool area was decent also with lots of available seating. Overall I would give this hotel stay a 3 out of 5.
Me and my lovely wife stayed at aria December 2021 and we had a fantastic stay at aria one of are favorites also. What are your thoughts on the new horseshoe and hopefully you review that hotel for your subscribers 😊
I (Jordan) spent a little time at Horseshoe last weekend and was pleasantly surprised at how new it felt. I though it was going to be the same old Bally’s with a new name. We might just stay there this year since we’re starting to look at some Caesars properties for a change. Thanks for watching!
I stayed at the Aria for 4 nights in February. Changed rooms 3X within the first night. The rooms were filthy, abhorrent, and the wall paper, paint, and rug was stained, ripped, worn, and just unacceptable. I guess it’s the luck of the draw OR they have your name identified in their computer system. Not worth $600 per night on Friday and Saturday. Yes, $600+ for a Friday and Saturday stay.
Hate to hear that. We’ve been getting lots of positive feedback on Aria since our last video, which was why we decided to revisit them. Hopefully those bad experiences are fewer and further between. Thanks for watching!
Comp room 2 nights in a Sky suite. (Petrov) ~ Eugene Kwok Inquire at front desk with your previous stays as a proof of patronage. And mention the offer is provided by the Canadian.
My main problem with Park is that there is so little sound damping between the rooms. That one complaint aside, I love everything else about the Park property.
Yeah not digging the inconsistencies of MGM. So annoyed with how they do business in Las Vegas. There's too many other great properties there to have to settle for that. For example, my last two trips in I stayed at the Sahara and Golden Nugget. Both were fantastic stays.
We’ve always found MGM Resorts (generally speaking) to be consistently good. There will always be outliers at the mid-range properties, but for the most part we’ve been very happy. Our prior Aria video experience not withstanding of course…. Thanks for watching!
Not sure I understand the question… We’re not huge gamblers, we play for fun. As modest gamblers we don’t get full comps on the weekends at the nicer hotels. This was a pretty good offer for our level of play…
@@ShowMeVegas Thank you for response. I apologize. I thought your play in the past was $50.00 average bet. Didn't you have a sky suites video in the past comped?
@@ShowMeVegas That's a nice surprise. Funny, my mom and myself were comped the same experience after a disaster stay one year. Keep up the great video, been watching your channel for years.
That place is the epitome of MGM vanilla. No panache whatsoever. The casino feels like a cold, dark warehouse. Had dinner at Carbone one night and was not impressed.
In your last stay their room was MESSED UP!!!!!!!!!!!!! and you MUST get a room change and to get a room change you MUST contact the front desk for your new room and you can fill out the survey
Comp offers are based strictly on gambling, not your tier. It’s easy for us to maintain gold because we have the MGM credit card, and because we make so many trips, but our typical gambling activity isn’t always enough to justify fully comped rooms. It also varies widely depending on the resort, so we get much better comps at the lower-end resorts than we do at Aria.
when Vegas first re opened after the shutdown the room rates were so low the trash driving up from Ca made it miserable and I say CA cause no one was flying in at that point and full disclosure Im from CA and it was embarrassing. I don't care if people don't like what I say but it was true. There was weed smell everywhere and people were driving those mobility carts every where in the casino. No one had any respect.I would tip a waitress $5 for a drink and they would thank me and tell me how all these people would order drinks and not tip them. I said almost 3 years ago once the Aria started charging around $300 a night for their resort room it would be normal again and it looks like all the clowns are now back at circus circus where they belong paying $29 a night.
Regardless of where the people were coming from it was a tough time on the strip for sure. Seems Aria didn’t respond to it very well and that led to a sharp decline. Looks like they have it back, though. Thanks for watching!
We experienced the same in Sept 2020. While we had the best service in all restaurants that were open we also had numerous people trying to sell us drugs.
Alot of properties didn't know how to deal with it, Cosmo had metal detectors and security on the sky bridge into the property. Aria had a gun fight in the valet, there were stabbings at MGM grand, shootings and killings on the strip in front of Planet Hollywood. It was all bad.
All we can do is report our experiences and go from there. We’ve seen almost nothing but positive reactions to Aria for probably a year, but there are bound to be bad experiences from time to time.
The MESSED UP room had: Holes in the walls Torn wallpaper Broken baseboards Missing letters Scratches Trash Lipstick on the glasses White fingerprints smudged all over the place in the room And EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
like the review and info but Dude your beats low end music is too much blowin up my studio sperakers its distorted real bad not in a good way just saying.
