Please stop being dramatic, if you want to blame anyone blame Disney and the director for rewriting Snow White not Rachel. Every critique Rachel stated was a reflection of what the director and studios felt regarding Snow White otherwise would they want to make so many changes? All Rachel said was it was outdated and that the prince is weird, she never said she hated Snow White actually many times she has said how proud she is for the role but y'all choose to ignore it.

@@EmperorPiplup How is it dramatic to point out the fact that Rachel Zegler has repeatedly been negative about the original film? There's plenty of interviews where she has been dismissive about it, from criticizing the role of the prince and saying the actor in the live action film could get cut out, railing on the time period of the story (the legend traces back to the Medieval era)and when the movie came out (1930s), and complaining about Snow White's lack of agency. The animated movie was what really launched the Disney Studio and made it a contender in the film business and kicked off children's entertainment. It pioneered new techniques and won a lot of awards, but Rachel doesn't really acknowledge that. All she talks about is what she perceives as wrong with it and how it's being changed and her role in those changes. I know each of the previous actresses who have been in the live action adaptations have all had their share of criticism for various reasons, but none of them have ever been so pessimistic about the original films as Rachel has been. The others have all been gracious, excited and humbled to be a part of the movies and all were respectful towards the originals. Rachel has not. In one interview she said she only watched it once and didn't see it again until she got the part because it was apparently such an unpleasant experience for her. Her attitude is just disrespectful towards fans who do like the movie and towards the studio who created it. From a publicity standpoint, Rachel is not doing the film any favors and I'm sure Disney is not pleased with it. When promoting their projects, actors are supposed to be upbeat and positive about, even if the film is a stinker and you didn't enjoy it on the whole, you don't go around complaining about it. So to the point of my original comment, Ariana is a promoting dream in terms of her comments about Wish. She's charming, passionate about the film and she's supporting the Disney company and recognizing its legacy of 100 years of filmmaking. That's why Rachel needs to take notes.

She was making a joke about her actor cause the new one doesn't emphasize on a love story, a joke she wouldn't have made if Disney themselves didn't rewrite the new script film. Maybe if you watched the full D23 interview except for 2 clips she literally said in the same interview how she grew up loving and watching Disney and is so proud to play a princess. She has quite literally posted about Snow White on her social media positively before any controversy than any other past Disney Princess actress. You can do both. I agree they should mostly use specialized voice actors, but it’s not like they casted Arianna for her celebrity draw. Most people don’t even know about her. She was likely casted for actually being perfect for the role.
