Hej Kevy, there is lengthy discussion amongst us abt what is what. Muehle saying the R106 using same head as the R89. The R108 shaves more comfortable than R89, yet closer. The Rocca R95 birch bark is more effective than the R108, it closes the gap to the beast, R41. So the Muehle strategy seems to be,R89, the old one fm 1989R106, the modern R89, same head, but different handlesR108, the modern R89 in different construction, more closeR95, Rocca the last step towards the R41, less beasty thoughR41, the ultimate beast, requesting respect...What y judge, Kevy… Cheers fm Singapore, Achim+

Kev if your getting an early stage of Old Man Scottish Spring or Summer Sweaty Pimples, just shave the bloody thing off with your razor and when you've done that have a bloody Scotch Whisky and don't forget to smile at the camera and say CHEERS.

Brought back a couple of the Nivea 2 phase from London to NYC because they were on "offer" and I was actually hunting for them. I've used it once and didn't feel like I needed a balm at all -- I thought that was the point? Do you normally follow up with a dedicated balm as well (after using the 2 phase)? Also, if you filmed every shave for each day in June, I'd probably end up watching all of them...

Hey Kevy, great shave and barbeque sounds fantastic! You say it rains every time you have a barbeque, almost every time my dad goes to the carwash it rains a least a day or so after. I'm expecting some shave soaps and creams soon from Italian Barber & EBay. Proraso Red tube cream, palmolive green, Amici from Italian Barber, and the 3 pack of What The Puck. Looking very toward to trying those! When you were applying your face wash it looked like you were fast forwarding then I realized you wasn't Lol

BBQ's and sunscreen go together. What's that you say, what is sunscreen? Well Kevy, if the sun keeps shining on you, you'll need some.. lol. A&E soap worked good, nice lather. Sweet razor that Muhle. I finally scored on the Nivea 2 phase, they sell it in the states now. 30 days of shaves! Sweet. Great shave and video. Enjoy!

Great shave. The shaving police has a warrant for your arrest if you're not shaving for more than 5 days. I like BBQ's and usually I would have it on a hot summer day or most of all, every year on the 4th of July weekend. I wish I would buy a Muhle Rocca, but it's too pricey for me

Great shave Kevy! I’m interested to see how the 30 shaves in 30 days goes. We did that challenge in one of my Facebook shave groups. I thought that my face couldn’t take that many shaves in a row, but I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t irritate my face at all. I guess it’s because of all the great products that we use. Shamefully after all these years I've still yet to give the Voskhod blades a go. Just an idea but maybe do a video on Sunday's highlighting the weeks shaves and products use and scores etc. That would be fun to hear about!

WooHoo! What a shave!! The Rocca, easily has to be my favorite razor of your collection. It has feedback like a boss, and cuts to the quick. This, combined with good looks make it in a class by itself. The obvious crown jewel of the Parr Razor Stockpile. The analogy that you told regarding the rain falling when a barbecue is planned, got me thinking. Do you think it possibly another reason for the creation of blues? I imagine that has happened to many. Probably so much that they could only sing about the woes of cancelled barbecues. How is poor Riley? The wee chap hasn't left my thoughts since learning of his "procedure." He is certainly going to walk differently without his tremendous bollocks spacing his legs out.
