I don’t see what the big fuss about her adding rasp to some of her vocals is even about. me personally LOVE the intentional rasp.. it sounds so sexy, mature, and it gives her voice a certain texture we never heard before, it’s more emotive as well! Ariana is far from experiencing vocal damage. everyone just need to relax!
so my conclusions were right, the rasp she's adding form the first 3 performances were intentional cuz the recordings also have rasp in them, in this one her voice is clear, some of y'all were wrong saying she has vocal damage because of the rasp in her voice
I don't know in what world you live, but most people knew it was intentional, a loud minority saying shit isn't "all" and you should not care or give credit to some random people opinion. Most competent vocal teachers say she is in her prime, so a little rasp here and there isn't something anyone care.
She must have been busy filming the voice. That rasp is characteristic of a tired voice. It happens with me too. When I noticed the rasp in the pov performance, I KNEW that that was not the only song she performed there. Plus she hasn't been touring or performing for more than an year now. Her voice is yet to get back on track with her busy schedule.
