Julia you are getting better every minute, I can't stop listening to Dua Lipa's cover every day since I heard yours haha! You should add affiliate marketing links to your videos descriptions, you could make quite a few extra dollars on the side just by recommending the gear you use such as bass guitars, headphones, pedals, amps, laptop, recording devices, etc, etc.
at 2:18-ish, Julia does a killer triplet run as she looks out into space, finishes, and her eyebrow do a flick, as if she’s thinking, “whoa, that was sweet!” to herself. Made me laugh. ..and, yes, it was a pretty sweet riff, ma’am.
This rhythm section is absolutely KILLING IT!! I often listen to what Julia is playing and this is not my type of music I listen to but I can't help playing this over and over again. Adrian's drumming is sublime. Well done you guys and I'm hoping for more collaborations.
I am 59 yo and I've playing bass (not professionally) since 1982. For all these years I've played and listened to a whole lot of music, always focusing on the bass part, as it is my main instrument and a lifetime passion. But I've never heard such mixture of sheer talent, incredible groove, tremendous bass technique...above all coming from a 20 years old girl. Keep on spreading the funk, Julia. Chapeau. I watched several people doing Dua Lipa covers and I stuck with Julia and Adrian. Both versions stood out to me. This is crazy seeing you 2 now collabing.
Because now you know the hard work and quality the original musicians put on this "simple" pop songs, even if sometimes the artist it's just a plastic cover, they always have majestic musicians backing them up.
The look at 2:58 is the photo to be used on billboards for your world tour...end of story. wonderful / brilliant rendition the bass was sweeping , melodic and dreamy while Adrian's drums just stood out with brilliant cymbal work. You both are spectacular players and the mix was so nice. Thanks for sharing your gifts with us.

Good lord the drumming is almost too locked in. Seeing someone perform drum tracks that were likely produced on a drum machine is pretty wild. Great performance ladies!
This is not only pure sickness in terms of musicianship, but insanely tight, and also really nicely mixed so the drums sound sweet but without drowning the backing track and we can still hear everything clearly. Great job all round guys.
It's so hard to pay attention to both of them playing, I see Julia grooving, doing her facial expression that do it for me and then I see the drummer also rocking incredibly, congratulations to both of you -love ;)
