I truly believe she was emotional, she've always been like that when she performs her songs for the first time on big screen. Also thank u, next got her crying. That happens cause she put so so much in music, even most of her catchy songs has a deep meaning, a hidden message, but always a positive one, one of light, no matter what she goes thru and believe me, she suffered so much bro. A reminder: Always be kind to everyone and spread your light, even in your darkest time. You are not alone, never.
The heaviness in her throat sounds so good and different for her. I wish she would incorporate this more in her studio stuff cause it’s so rich and adds such a nice contrast to her normal bright and breathy technique she’s known for.
Honestly, one of her songs from the album came on the radio yesterday, and I had to stop for a moment to really listen to see who on earth was singing. Such a shame that so many performances at the moment are simply overproduced and sound very flat in my opinion. The Amplitude range has really disappeared from music with all of the compression going on
She is a phenomenal singer for sure. I am a trained singer and after hearing her things just recently it’s obvious that she isn’t just a teenage pop star. She is incredible! Her lower part of voice is fine. I think she popped her mic in place that made a sound, and it threw her off on that turn where it’s unsupported and a bit flat. But this gal is phenomenal! She has a great chest voice in some of her songs. She is just plain impressive! I’m glad she is not burning herself out with constant chest screaming like a lot of other singers - who then can’t carry a tune due to developed hoarseness in their voice. You are a fun coach btw!
I've always loved Ariana's music and the seemingly effortless mastery she has over her voice. For me, Eternal Sunshine feels like the most honest and genuine collection that Ariana has released to date. Thank you for providing the technical insight in your analysis, you have helped me to hear the subtle details and highlighted a new kind of mastery that I don't think I would have appreciated otherwise.
I'm going to comment on this video because that's what I came across to watch, but know that your English is easy to understand and that's great for us foreigners, I'm Brazilian and I love your channel, I've already watched several videos on your channel, especially the ones with Billie Eilish, who is my favorite singer, but I also watch other videos, obviously. Congratulations for being so kind.
Just a quick technical tipp. You need to adjust your Volume Levels while editing the video. The Video ist way too quiet and you have to essentially crank up the volume on the device to the max to hear the video correctly. You can find a lot of tutotials or tipps online for leveling the audio correctly in the editing software. :)
Please do imperfect for you on SNL! I think it might just be her best performance ever! She sounds so amazing! I liked this one too..but imperfect for you had me emotional with those deep notes! Both performances felt emotional, but the other song was just extra awesome and I watched it so many times!
This song really showes that she grew and matured and she isn't a young pop star anymore. She grew as a woman and human. The verse "baby girl it is just you and me" really shows it and even more "and so far it is only me and maybe that's all I need". It is really one of the most genuine lyrics she has ever written
3:30 into this look up Ava Max vocals then compare them to Ari and you will see the differences between a classical trained singer and someone from a musical theatre background ❤
I liked her singing before that new album better. Now it seems like she's holding back 90% of the time and doesn't use her range and power. It's a bit boring now, also the songs are only ok. Dangerous Woman, My Everything and Sweetener albums are my favourite from her and her singing really shines there + songs are great
9:09 I think she lip syncs this part, the difference in the volume is notable and her lips are not sync with what she is singing, but the rest of it was perfect (and fully live)! really nice performance
