I agree w/ your review of the cover. No disrespect towards Keith. Glad he likes the song though. And tbh, I think that’s what Ari thinks to (hence the emojis). She’s a talented song writer and I would think if she truly liked it, she would have done more than the three emoji acknowledgement.
I actually prefer his version. I am not a Grande fan. But as she wanted, people interpret the song as they see fit. I love Keith's voice. Have since 1999. So yeah, I prefer his version.
I am a huge Keith fan, but I agree, I don’t like his rendition at all. He has done some really nice live remakes over his career and unfortunately this isn’t one of them.
@@ireneolsson7642 Well,we don't have to idolise or worshipping our favourite artist but we can like or dislike their art but the most important thing as a music art fan is respect their work.
If you read the reasons she wrote it, marriage, divorce, dating someone else. People misunderstanding. Yet in all that she said she wanted people to see themselves in it. To me a great song lets you do that. Keith interpreted it as he saw fit. I prefer the ballad as opposed to the poppier interpretation.
@@user-fj4pt1uq2x Oh I have no doubt it's just the song. Keith sees some of the misundersatndings about his own life to the general public. They read more into his public life than there actually is reality.
