It's almost 8am. This just made my WHOLE day.

The power and the amount of riffs she sings here is one of the reasons she caught my eye. When she sang years ago, she sang insane riffs so flawlessly all the time and I was always always hoping someone would make a compilation video of it (like with Give it Up and her various covers) but I never ever saw one. She was probably the first person I ever heard sing riffs and make me notice that they exist. She blew my world and still does. I am okay with there not being a riff video, bc this exists now. She's definitely still got it (obviously) and its just such an amazing feeling watching this video and seeing her go back to her theater roots and sing all these incredible riffs and runs and show off how amazing she is with a sweater and a simple microphone. Perfection.
