I love Frankie too he’s so nice and proud and he takes so much care of Ariana when she down. Now she is happy. 1 taught her love 1 taught her patience and 1 taught her pain. Now she’s so amazing. Thank u next
@@hannahthomas9507 it still is she just doesn’t use strong vocals as much in her songs anymore for some reason but she very obviously still has a string my voice
People keep commenting that her voice has “changed.” It hasn’t changed. She purposely switches the voice styles to fit the genre she is singing. Pop and Broadway have very different styles. She still has the ability to sing the Broadway style, it’s just not desirable for pop- the same way the style of opera wouldn’t be desirable for pop.
The beauty of pop music is that there IS no one style of singing. I've heard pop songs with all different sorts of singing styles. Well, more in the 20th century than in the 21st...
The amount of people in this comment section that act like singing experts just because they've seen a couple "vocal trainer reacts to" and think they are really saying something meaningful by saying "high larynx this resonance that"... lmaooooooooo they really think they know better than ariana fuc king grande 😂😂😂
I love Ari, but after hearing her voice before Hollywood, I can’t help but compare the two. Hollywood has made her voice more baby-like and breathy. She had such a strong voice. I mean her voice is still beautiful, but it’s just so breathy.
Before Hollywood she sang with her her larynx lowered and in her chest voice bc that's a pretty popular in Broadway because it helps provide more resonanc. Now her larynx is more neutral and sings slightly breathy as a stylistic choice in some of her songs. But her talent and skill and still intact.
Its because shes using her head voice, when your younger you use more of your voice then your techniques but as you get older you voice is more airy and breathy and that allows more air to escape to add more extra fancy stuff to your voice. I just used this from a proffesional Vocal Coach and my own knowledge.
One thing I do really love about her is she knows how to sing for the room she's in. like when she's on a stage it's big and strong, but in the car she doesn't full on belt, yet it still has a strong-ness about it. that's a smart in control type singer to know, every time you sing it doesn't have to be loud and belt-y but can still give it the same power and effect for the room.
If only she still sings and pronounce her words like the first clip, she'll be my front runner for the role of Elphaba for the Wicked movie. She's way tooooooo pop now. I cant even understand a word she's singing on her Hairspray Live stint.
She has broadway training and can still pronounce just fine but chooses not to. She originally planned on staying in broadway but her music career took off.
Do u hear her now ? Better technic, better breathing, belting on point... she is not forcing anything, and no one flat note... she improved on everything except her pronunciation but thats the artist choice
@@Sir_Konflex omg thank you I was going insane all these people saying she has less good technique with her pop sound...... It's so obviously less straining long term to sing like she does now.
Diction is word choice, she uses the same lyrics throughout this whole thing except replacing the name Seymour with Frankie before. I think the word you were looking for was enunciation.
Fabian Gonzalez Diction can be simply defined as the pronunciation or enunciation of your vocal expression. In regards to singing, it is the clarity or particular way words are pronounced in a song. Literature definition is different than the artistic definition, so what OP said was valid.
Miss Priss True, I think that they were just pointing out that she was enunciating less in the more recent clip. Even when singing a song that isn’t hers.
I know some people said that she sounds better then and i partly agree. She was technically better BUT she sounded very generic. She sounded like every other soprano broadway singer. Over the year, she discovered her own distinct sound and singing technique. Sure she loss a bit of power and enunciation, but now, everyone can recognize her voice and that's much more valuable in the industry.
People who claim Ariana was made for Broadway... lol... I don't think she's taken seriously among Broadway lovers and performers. Her "old tone" was boring and there was nothing special about it. Literally any Broadway star would have eaten her alive. She's PERFECT for pop. Don't let a few belts trick you into thinking they would make her a better artist. Artistry is not just belting out octave 5 notes. Pop IS her alley.
Now that she has more vocal control, she's even better suited for broadway. Check out her TV cover of "The Wizard And I" for the recent Wicked Anniversary.
It's because she is so small. That's how you put seatbelts on children if they are so short that the shoulder strap would actually choke them in an accident and if they don't have a booster seat to make them the right height for it. One of my sitters for my son is a grownup but she wears them like that too.
@@uland88 ....she is tall enough to wear a seat belt properly. I know shes small but that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard...I'm sorry but I just... her head is literally even with the seat.
Nevada Nicholson she’s 5’2. My brother is 5’2 and if he wears the seatbelt regular, it chokes him. If she got into an actual car accident, she might not be able to breathe if the seatbelt locks.
Lift up your head, wash off your mascara Here, take my Kleenex, wipe that lipstick away Show me your face clean as the mornin' I know things were bad but now they're okay Suddenly Seymour is standing beside you You don't need no makeup, Don't have to pretend Suddenly Seymour, is here to provide you With sweet understanding, Seymour's your friend Nobody ever treated me kindly Daddy left early, mamma was poor I'd meet a man and I'd follow him blindly He'd snap his fingers me I'd say, "Sure" Suddenly, Seymour is standing beside me He don't give me orders, he don't condescend Suddenly, Seymour is here to provide me Sweet understanding, Seymour's my friend Tell me this feeling lasts till forever Tell me the bad times are clean washed away Please understand that it's still strange and frightening Both losers like I've been it's so hard to say Suddenly, Seymour (Suddenly, Seymour) He purified me (He purified you) Suddenly, Seymour (Suddenly, Seymour) Showed me I can (Yes, you can) Learn how to be more The girl that's inside me (The girl that's inside you) With sweet understanding (With sweet understanding) With sweet understanding (With sweet understanding) Seymour is my man (Seymour is your man)
I want a relationship like Frankie and Ari. My brother criticizes me for everything. I sing to her songs in my room and he comes in and tells me to shut up and that I suck.
Awh. I’m sorry to hear this. My brother was so mean to me growing up. But I will say. He has been front and center at every show I’ve ever done. Big brothers can be mean but are typically our biggest advocates behind the scenes. Mind you. We are old now. My bother turned 30 this year.
My brother beat me up and abused me in more ways than one and everytime i told someone about it (not about the sexual abuse i was too embarrassed) they told me it was just normal sibling rivalry I guess i didnt explain it well enough
Me and my best friend performed this for my school musical audition, and I was told I KILLED it. I think my teacher has something personal against my grade.... because I didn’t get the part
