Its psychological. The reason why sad songs are sad is because it's in a low pitch. High pitch makes it sound happy/optimistic. While lower melodies are more of sad and rejection. They slowed and deepened it. That's why it sounds sad.
Anime name: wicked city Basically about spies, romance and monsters. It’s an amazing movie with great writing and animation even though it’s relatively old
LYRICS // Tell me something, I need to know Then take my breath and never let it go If you just let me invade your space I'll take the pleasure, take it with the pain And if in the moment I bite my lip Baby, in that moment, you'll know this Is something bigger than us and beyond bliss Give me a reason to believe it 'Cause if you want to keep me, you gotta gotta gotta gotta got to love me harder And if you really need me, you gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta got to love me harder (Gotta love me harder) Love me, love me, love me Harder, harder, harder I know your motives and you know mine The ones that love me, I tend to leave behind If you know about me and choose to stay Then take this pleasure and take away the pain And if in the moment you bite your lip When I get you moaning you know it's real Can you feel the pressure between your hips? I'll make it feel like the first time 'Cause if you want to keep me, you gotta gotta gotta gotta got to love me harder (Imma love you harder) And if you really need me, you gotta gotta gotta gotta got to love me harder (Love me harder) Love me, love me, love me Harder, harder, harder Love me, love me, love me Harder, harder, harder So what do I do if I can't figure it out? You got to try, try, try again So what do I do if I can't figure it out? I'm gonna leave, leave, again 'Cause if you want to keep me, you gotta gotta gotta gotta got to love me harder (I'll love you, love you, love you) And if you really need me, you gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta got to love me harder (Love me, love me, baby) 'Cause if you want to keep me, you gotta gotta gotta gotta got to love me harder (Love me harder) And if you really need me, you gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta got to love me harder (Imma love you harder) Love me, love me, love me Harder, harder, harder (Love me, love me, baby) Love me, love me, love me (Just a little bit harder, harder, a little bit) Harder, harder, harder
This song is incredible I've been listening to it over and over for the past days, never dared to listen to the original. The melody is so uplifting the bass arrangment is simple but it's my favorite succession of harmonic notes. The lyrics are great, I really feel the part where she repeats love me as at first I thought she said lonely because I've felt the loneliest and isolated myself for the past 5 years. Now I'm out of it (it's been a few weeks and it's because I moved to Paris), but when she repeats love me love me love me it feels so melancholic and yet so cheerful... To me it's the embodiment of this feeling of hope you have for the future even though you're at your lowest, you keep gazing at the sky, at the stars, and you keep thinking "there are people for me out there". You keep thinking you're not worth it but this song takes you in its arms and tells you everything is fine, you're worth it and you'll make your dreams come true... Music is a life saver, this one really really makes the difference for me even though I discovered it 3 days ago...
