Tom didn’t get heat then because Kristen was the villain on the show, and everyone wanted Tom to move on with the cute blonde. She lied about Tom intentionally trying to hurt her dog. She lied about not wanting to move out sooner because the house was her dream home, the truth is, she couldn’t afford to move out on her own, until the brand deals started flooding in due to the public split.
