I find it strange that Bachelor nation continues to hate on Arie. Most of the couples don't stay together after the show ends. And let's face it. If he wasn't into Becca, he did the right thing to break up with her. The worst thing he could have done is drag out the relationship longer, then break up later. Of course, he should have not proposed, but there is a real pressure from playing the role of the Bachelor - they are expected to propose. That same pressure is applied indirectly for the contestants to fall in love with him. It's just the nature of the show, which is a world that can only exist in the magical sick minds of Disney. If Arie and Lauren make it, that's great. If they don't, it's sad, but that's life. But to me, they seem to be saying all the right things and acting genuine.
So true. Glad they are still together and happily married. He made the right decisions for himself in the end. They now have 1 baby girl and are pregnant with twins 🥰❤️
I think he made a great choice, I can see the way she looked at him she truly love him, and he love her. Life is way make you happy. I'm happy for them, because I always liked him on the show. God bless you both.
women used to look up adoringly at their husbands like that in the 1950's. She's a lovely looking young woman. Beautiful smile!! That vocal fry though ... makes you want to cough. I wish women would drop that. I think it's a bit common.
I get this weird needy/codependency vibe from them. As if Laurens like "i need you. You complete me" and Aries like "you need me. I complete you." Reminds me of young girls, who arent self-aware or who know how to express themselves, looking to older men to guide them. And (the wrong kind of) older men preying on that because they know you are the ideal type of person to control.
lol i usually don’t comment but i agree completely! i was actually in this type of relationship and i didn’t realize until so much later this person was a narcissist and i was that girl who didn’t know how to express herself and it made me anxious and codependent. he ended things with me only to tell me how much he loved me a month later (back and forth a million times). i think the reason why arie wanted lauren back was because he felt like she needed him as opposed to becca who seems way more independent. i wish for more girls to be confident and build your self esteem and know you deserve the best. believe me it feels amazing when you realize your worth, reign over your own life and when you don’t let anybody define you but YOU
But when you are independent a lot of guys don't like it .They want you to break and even when you are reliant on the Guy the Guy doesn't like it either or when it actually suits him .
Nope they were truly in love 😍 Head over heels, adoration, Their chemistry and passion no act, why all the negative judgments? I thought women supported and believed in love, and hope springs eternal.
Arie making out that he didn't know what was going to happen when he knocked on the door hahaha and when he referred to his love for Lauren as 'loved' and how Lauren looked all sad when he said that. This reminds of Diana and Prince Charles all over again
Esther beamsforaballad I am simply making a comparison. When I speak of Princess Diana and Charles I am referring to the dynamics of their relationship. Charles seemed to be controlling, like Arie, and Diana seemed submissive and naive, like Lauren. That is all ;)
I'm happy for them. Fast forward to 2022, they're happily married with three children. Despite this, I still have the image of Becca crying inconsolably when Arie broke up with her and he said every time he was with her he kept thinking about Lauren and what it would be like with Lauren. So much for letting a girl down gently!
The breakup, couples, relationship from all genders good or bad are part of human being trials and challenges in life. Becca’s situation happened to be in the public eyes but situation like that happens to ordinary people like us. She deserves better and it will be entirely up to her to move on and it does not have to be in public eyes.
I like this couple together, but given Arie's track record, I'm scared for Lauren. Who thinks their relationship will last a) Less than one year b) 3 years c) 5 years d) forever? My husband thinks that given everything that has happened, to "save face," Arie will stay in it for 4-5 years ... This couple seems so in love ... is this sustainable?

I think Arie probably will marry Lauren (and quickly) only because it's become such a public display and now the pressure is really on to prove that, finally, Arie has found The One and he is not the playboy everyone believes him to be. Problem is, Arie is still very much the emotionally immature playboy he has always been. He has not changed, being with a new person will not change him. He is over the moon with Lauren for now, but it won't last. Sooner or later she will begin to lose her shine, and then someone else will catch his eye. This is a guy who will never be faithful, he was "1000% over" his former fiancee Becca a mere day after breaking his engagement with her. Major red flag when any person can easily dispose of someone they once claimed to be so in love with.
what a waste of time...taking bets on how long will they last.Becca is so much better without him. Lauren was so easy to take him back that I actually feel sorry for her because she will always be the second one picked...it may not be a loved comment but it's true.

I remember cringing at their date on the show where she was quiet n i almost couldn't watch it cause I could relate to her in that scenerio. But I felt awe and was sweet her just being in her parents house when he came to her house to come back for her. Hate when the cameras are in the persons house n then the dude shows up n they act all surprised. Like wtf is that just ur personal camera dude u hired to film u that has nothing to do w the show and they just use his footage like wow what r the odds there. Eh maybe its staged.
He wants a TV wedding with great lighting and lots of white flowers... So, it will happen during Becca's season, right? He'll leave LAUREN at the altar and show up on Becca's season wanting her back! Wait and see! He's all about the attention. He only loves himself! LAUREN, smarten up Girl!
Geraldine M i wouldn't say so. I think he was really in love with Lauren but the family pushed him towards Becca. This happens to a lot of guys. He just doesn't wanna blame his family now.
Why they always have to touch each other, hold their hands... while interviews.. It's like they want to convince the whole world that they are in love and happy with each other but in fact it looks like they are really insecure.
