I’ve watched every single podcast this year and going through all your projects this year again was so nice and inspirational! I think you and Emily have influenced me enough - I need to make a cashmere Aurelia this year! I also am just so in love with your big cozy cardigan and birch pullover. So many sweaters to make, so little time ❤
Hi there. Love your 2023 makes. You are a great knitter and podcaster. I subscribed to your channel. I am in Canada and have wanted to go to Hawaii for 40 years. Could you recommend a place to stay for a month? I also started a podcast. Could I send you one of my pattern designs for a free draw on your channel?
As you mentioned the number of garments you completed, my jaw dropped each time. How are you able to knit so much in 1 year - I don't even think I could knit that much in a 5 years! Anyway, congratulations on a successful knitting year - all beautiful garments.
This is the first time I’m watching your podcast so maybe I missed it but were these machine knit? How did you do 19 sweaters + 9 tops + 3 giant shawls + 8 cardigans in one year? With the scarves, hats and socks I’m counting way over 52 garments in 52 weeks, so you finish one garment every 5 days? And these weren’t all bulky weight quick knits. I see fingering weight tops, a half fisherman’s rib cardigan. Even if you started a few of them in the prior year, that’s still unrealistic levels of speed-knitting.
For future reference, white lettering is almost impossible to read on a pale background. You really need more contrast between the color of the background and the color of the lettering when putting notes on the screen.
Love almost all of your pieces and really like the ones I don't love. Your work is beautiful. I soooo wish I had the money to invest in all the gorgeous yarns you use. I feel sometimes that as much as I love knitting, it's a rich persons hobby. Adore all your pinks, I just love pink everything. But powder blue or periwinkle is a close second favorite.
I think that's definitely true! I love knitting, but don't have tons of time to do it, so I guess the financial aspect evens out if you only finish like 2 pieces per year 😀
Thank you so much for showcasing all your makes. For a while now I have been wanting to make a hoodie version style garment so may be this is the year I make one😀💕
what a fun trip down the memory lane ❤ this reminded me of so many sweaters that I wanted to make as well 😊 especially all the suri sweaters 🥰🥰🥰 looking forward to all the makes in 2024!
I've been looking forward to sitting down and watching this, and so glad I had a long weekend to do so! It's so fun to see your collection together - this year, I definitely want to knit a slightly sassy v, and, if I can squeeze it in, the Azalea 💕
Hi I've been enjoying your videos for awhile now and thought I'd comment. I'm inspired by the Aurelia pullover. I'm currently making the Granny cardigan by Joji Locatelli. I'd like to make the Mae Drop Tee. Thank you.
I am doing this comment as I watch so it may be very discombobulating. Every Which way Cowl by Christen Clement would be great to showcase handspun. I would wear the Azalea tee over a long sleeve in spring or fall- like a vest:) I did the Stockholm vest this year and really love it as a layering piece. Would love to see all of your lingering WIPs and your stash:) And finally you have added the slightly sassy v to my TBK list. Thanks for the awesome episode.
