Ariel Rider Kepler 52v eBike Stripped down & accessorized! 

That is awesome! I never thought the Kepler would drop to 1499 and came super close to buying a few others I was looking at, but so glad it did cause I really wanted to power and top speed. She is definitely a beast! Got sick of putting it into bed of pickup with the weight so I grabbed a cheapo rack which works well for short distance i take it. Also check it for scratches, mine had a good chunk out which I covered with vinyl when i changed up the color, but after complaining they gave me a small credit back at least. Cheers!

Funny i'm so fixated on the speed of this ebike considering my street bike is a 2016 CBR 1000rr lol! I've heard that there's usually some slight cosmetic damage with almost every person I have talked to about this co. As you stated though, the cust svc is fantastic! Well tmrws weather in WNY is supposed to be mainly clear so ill keep you informed!!

@@CryFor-mY-hUgE-HAUG Awesome Motorcycle! I also have a "need for speed" and always have since I was a kid. If you scroll way way down you will find my Vrod videos which was a very cool bike!!! Bigtime into sledding all winter for sure and turbo power. Recently getting into the EVs and i highly recommend going down to the new Tesla dealer in South Buffalo and demo drive their Model S. I have a video on this and its a blast to hit the accelerator on that car(0-60=3.1seconds). As for the top speed of the Kepler, I got real close to 40MPH so far but have only rode it a handful of times since I got it all done. I wanted the step over as well but saw a guy on youtube showing the height of the bar and this is a tall bike! Im near 6ft tall but still tricky to stand over. So Im glad I went with the step through. Only thing that is a bummer is the only place for a bottle is on bottom cause there is not enough room where you stand over to use the top bolts. Cheers!

@@rockerdan facts bro!! I watched a couple of you videos on snowmobiling and I give you guys credit man. Those things are straight TOTALLY MADNESS SPEED!😂 They honestly scare me bro!!😂 A few of my closest cousins and uncles been doing it for years and those guys have ZERO 😨 fear!! They are constantly going over parts of lake Erie/ponds/ect!! I just can't 😂😂😂❤️

I have not weighed it, sorry. But i will say the fenders and rack are fairly light, so i think you can only subtract 5-7lbs max from the Kepler weight spec IMO. I always take my battery off when transporting bike on my rack. Battery has some serious weight to it for sure! Cheers.

Most of the carbon fiber "look" graphics i used to cover the pink is simply a carbon graphic tape i bought on amazon very cheap. Cut out the sizes and shapes to cover pink. Cheers!

Yes I really liked the idea of thumb throttle rather then Twist. I actually just talked directly to Ariel Rider and they sent me the correct one which plugs right in to same wire plug as original. It takes just a few minutes to swap it out. I think they charged me $20 bucks if i recall for it. One thing to consider is when removing the twist throttle you will remove part of the grip, so you will need to buy new grips to complete the thumb lever style throttle. I added some grips that i really like. Cheers!

@@rockerdan Cool. I just sent a message to them asking about the thumb throttle. I like the grips you picked. Thanks for sharing the details on that. I was also curious if the rear light you attached to your aftermarket seat would attach to the standard seat that comes with the bike. I don't like the back rack so I was planning on removing it and wasn't sure where I could put the light.

@@zachharmon1732 Yes i first used the bracket for a few days mounted to the stock Kepler seat, and it fit perfectly! Cheap light bracket on Amazon that works well. Only downside is the cable runs down the seat post. Also you must carefully remove cable from inside the rear fender which its riveted too, and remove wire from a sheathing cover. Then since cable will be long i just wrapped it up and zip tied the extra down near the controller. Cheers!
