Our feature poet for June 2024 is a published author, writer and educator who has shaped Trinidad and Tobago’s poetry space in so many ways.

Bacano Leaf is a spoken word poetry and performance arts collective. We celebrate, develop and promote the voice youth and spoken word poetry media through open mics, workshops, poetry slams, community development projects and other curated initiatives.
